Joel Betts is a contestant from Australian Survivor (2002).
Initially on the minority on Tipara, Joel aligned with eventual winner Robert Dickson to secure a better spot in the game. Come merge, Joel was consistently on the outs of many strategic decisions, yet still stayed strong to his alliance, using this position to temporarily become a swing vote. Eventually, he was eliminated when Robert chose Sciona Browne to come to the Final Tribal Council over Joel.
