Post-Robinson

• In 2015, Jens competed on Adam søker Eva, the Norwegian adaptation of the Dutch reality TV dating show Adam zoekt Eva (Adam seeks Eve in English). In each episode, a man and a woman paddle to a tropical island, undress, and use items in their 'Love Bag' to impress each other with. In standard episodes, in an unexpected twist for the islanders, another man or woman will later arrive, undress and seek to impress the person of the opposite gender. The two people of the same gender would compete in a task given by the opposite gender, and the one judged to have completed the task best wins a date with the person of the opposite gender.
  • In the second episode, which featured Jens, another man arrived in order to compete with him for the chance to date the woman. This angered Jens, who quit shortly after. He later stated in an interview that he demanded that either the other man should leave, or that he would, believing the twist to be unfair as he was not told about it beforehand.
• On 9th October 2020, Jens, aged 33, was convicted of various crimes, including causing serious violence, in relation to the death of a 15-year-old boy named Mathis Matthiassen. Jens was found to have groomed Mathis on a dating app, and in the early morning of 28th March 2020, Jens was found to have drugged, beat and strangled Mathis before leaving him for dead.
  • Jens was sentenced to three years in prison. However, the charge of leaving Mathis in a helpless state was overturned in April 2021 due to lack of evidence, reducing Jens' sentence by a year, and he was released from prison on a judge's orders despite not having finished serving his then 2-year sentence. He was also cleared of having to pay any compensation to Mathis' family, who were outraged by the court's sentencing of Jens.
  • Jens is now known as Jens Kristensen, having changed his name whilst in prison.
