Post-Survivor
- Jenn appeared in the 2007 movie, Daddy Day Camp, as Mrs. Simmons.[2]
- On January 9, 2010, despite her health, Jenn was able to attend Survivor's 10-year anniversary party.
Death
- On January 19, 2010, 10 days after attending the anniversary party, Jenn passed away from breast cancer, which had come back from remission and had metastasized to the bone. She was thus the first cast member of Survivor to pass away.[3] The special Surviving Survivor, which aired Thursday, February 4, 2010, just over two weeks after her passing, was dedicated to her memory. At the Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains live Reunion Show, Lyon was further remembered, showing a montage of Jenn's Survivor experience. She is the first of six deceased former Survivor contestants, the others being B.B. Andersen (2013), Caleb Bankston (2014), Dan Kay (2016), Ashley Massaro (2019), and Rudy Boesch (2019).
Trivia
- Jenn and Ian Rosenberger are the first contestants to partake in a final four fire-making challenge due to a deadlocked vote.
- Because Palau was the first season with 20 contestants, Jenn was the first castaway to be the 17th person to be eliminated in a season.
- In their profiles for Heroes vs. Villains, both Stephenie LaGrossa and Tom Westman have stated that Jenn is the past Survivor castaway that they respected the most.
- Jenn was good friends with host Jeff Probst, and he would sometimes drive her to the hospital.
