Koh-Lanta[]

Jean was placed on the Matukad tribe. The Matukad tribe won the majority of the early challenges, keeping the tribe generally intact throughout the tribal phase with only two visits to Tribal Council. At the beginning of the second cycle, the contestants were joined by two new competitors, the challenge-oriented Léa Notardonato and the survival-oriented William Plancq, both of whom would be immune for the cycle. After losing the corresponding Reward Challenge, the Matukad tribe was left with Léa N. to join them and increase their numbers to eleven. The Matukad tribe did their best to make Léa N. feel welcome, but many of its members would have preferred recruiting William because the tribe needed a fire.

At the beginning of the third cycle, the twenty remaining contestants competed in an endurance challenge in which the two contestants that dropped out first of the tribe that would see all of its members drop out before the last of the other tribe's members would face off in an elimination duel. Cécile Poprawa and Mégane Rouland were the first and second, respectively, to drop out of the Matukad tribe and Léa N. dropped out right after Mégane. Fortunately for Cécile and Mégane, Maxime Barbet and Ricky Poyet outlasted the last of the rival Kadasi tribe, William, and saved the two from the elimination duel.

Over the next few cycles, the Matukad tribe won most of the challenges. During the seventh cycle, with the Ambassadors' Meeting looming, Maxime approached Jean and accused David Murail, Cécile, Ricky, and Mégane of having an alliance, stating that the rest of the tribe needs to work together to stay alive and revealing that he is considering working with the original Kadasi members come merge to breakup this alliance. Instead of gathering the other alleged outsiders together, Jean leaked Maxime's thoughts to everyone and, later on in the cycle after the Matukad tribe lost the seventh Immunity Challenge, Maxime was voted out by the majority of the tribe.

The next cycle, the tribes merged and, even though the two tribes were now one, the six original Kadasi tribe members and the seven original Matukad tribe members strategized away from one another, with the latter group planning on pagonging the former group and trying to figure out who may have a Hidden Immunity Necklace among them and the former group working out for who to play any Hidden Immunity Necklaces at the merged tribe's first Tribal Council. However, Sébastien Cazaux bonded with Jean over the two being carpenters and learned from him that the original Matukad tribe members would be voting based off of merit, inciting the original Kadasi tribe members to want to protect Océane Montenegro, who was not as strong in challenges. Anticipating this, Meïssa Seck tried telling his group to switch targets, but his arguments fell on deaf ears. At Tribal Council, the original Matukad tribe members indeed voted against Océane while the original Kadasi tribe members voted against Léa N. Before the votes were read, Meïssa played his Hidden Immunity Necklace for Cécile, Pauline Bonneil played hers for herself, and Amri Madani played his for himself and for Océane, resulting in Léa N. being "idoled out."

Throughout the next cycle, Meïssa began to bond well with Amri and this, along with his frustration towards his original allies for ignoring his advice regarding Océane, incited him to shift his allegiance. For the time being, the pair agreed that Meïssa would continue to vote with the original Matukad tribe members but would inform Amri about who their targets would be. After Jean won the second individual Immunity Challenge, he and his allies agreed to vote against Amri next, so Meïssa leaked this information to Amri as agreed upon. Fortunately for Amri, he would be able to protect himself as he had found a Hidden Immunity Necklace earlier in the cycle. Completely aware of the cross-tribal arrangement keeping all of them alive, the original Kadasi tribe members agreed to vote against Cécile at Tribal Council because they felt that she was the strategic thinker of their rivals. Meanwhile, Meïssa wanted to keep Mégane, whom he considered his closest ally among the original Matukad tribe members, for as long as possible, so he let her know that Amri would not be eliminated but that neither would she. Feeling suspicious, Mégane told Julie Rignault that the group needed to switch their target onto Pauline because of Meïssa's words, but nothing changed as Julie did not think that this made sense and felt that Mégane was being naive. At Tribal Council, Amri successfully played his Hidden Immunity Necklace for himself and Cécile was "idoled out," blindsiding the original Matukad tribe members.

At the final ten, the Tied Destinies twist took place and the pairings were Jean and Mégane, Pauline and Meïssa, Sébastien and Aurélien Dulau, Amri and Julie, and David and Léa Sahin. Wanting for their partnership to remain clandestine, Meïssa tried to convince Amri to vote against the only pair without original Matukad tribe members in it, Sébastien and Aurélien, when Tribal Council would come, but Amri refused. Meanwhile, David and Léa S. bonded well, with the former inviting the latter into an alliance including themselves, Jean, Julie, and Mégane. When it was time for the individual Immunity Challenge, it was won by the only pair without original Kadasi tribe members in it, Jean and Mégane, setting the tone for which group of the original Kadasi tribe members and the original Matukad tribe members would be holding more power at the coming Tribal Council. After Sébastien told Julie to shut her mouth in a squabble regarding camp chores and Aurélien exposed Meïssa's double-dealing to the original Matukad tribe members in order to shift the target onto him, the pair was eliminated at Tribal Council after Sébastien received the majority of the votes, including from Pauline and Amri.

During the next cycle, Jean gravely sprained his ankle the day before the next individual Immunity Challenge and was permanently evacuated from the game just before said challenge began, leaving his remaining allies in a precarious position. His unorthodox elimination allowed for either Sébastien or Aurélien to return to the game in his place. After winning a duel at the beginning of the following cycle, Sébastien returned to the game.

At the Final Tribal Council, Jean cast his vote for Léa S. to win the title of Sole Survivor; she won in a 8-3 vote over Meïssa.
