Koh-Lanta[]
A member of the all-male Mogo tribe, he was best known for giving the middle finger to the Chapera tribe and throwing his belt at them after his tribe lost the first Immunity Challenge, which resulted in him being sanctioned. Upon the corresponding elimination, Denis Brogniart informed Jean-Bernard that he would lose his right to vote at the first elimination and that he would be exiled for the next 48 hours as punishment for his poor sportsmanship, effective immediately.
On Day 8, a few days after his return, the Mogo tribe sent Alban Mbossoro and their two scouts, Raphaël Andrès and Romuald Lafite, to what they thought was going to be a challenge for reward, but it turned out to be a tribe switch. As a result, they were reassigned to the Chapera tribe and their representatives, Linda Alario, SL, and Catherine Ehret-Mader were reassigned to the Mogo tribe. Right out of the gate, Linda and SL formed an alliance with Jean-Bernard and Guillaume Brauer and the former pair suggested Catherine as a potential target for their alliance to vote against due to her weakness in challenges. When Vidéli Dittmar was evacuated and eliminated from the game on Day 10 because his heel wound was worsening, Sophie Eeckhout returned to the game on the Mogo tribe in his place. With Linda and SL reuniting with Sophie and their newfound alliance with Jean-Bernard and Guillaume, it seemed that Catherine would be going home when the Mogo tribe lost the third Immunity Challenge. However, Jean-Bernard and Guillaume weren't trustworthy of Linda and SL and SL had earned the ire of her tribemates, including Linda and Sophie, because they felt that her nastiness towards Catherine had gone too far. Therefore, at the corresponding elimination, SL was voted out unanimously.
Unfortunately for Jean-Bernard, SL's elimination shined a light on his laziness around camp and he earned the ire of his tribemates. Though the Mogo tribe won the fourth Immunity Challenge, Jean-Bernard's tribemates were annoyed with him as they didn't think that he put effort into the challenge. Jean-Bernard deflected his tribemates criticisms about his laziness and he felt that Linda and Sophie were the lazy ones. When the Mogo tribe lost the fifth Immunity Challenge, even Jean-Bernard's closest ally Guillaume joined the rest of the tribe in unanimously voting him out. Before leaving, Jean-Bernard told Guillaume that he was disappointed in him.
