Janine Allis is a contestant from Australian Survivor: Champions v Contenders (2019).

A major player during the season, Janine rose to the power position following the dismantlement of the Sporty Seven alliance. Following a tribe switch, she maintained power in a tight trio with allies Pia Miranda and Abbey Holmes. Janine was perceived as the leader of the Champions after the tribe switch, with Harry Hills even dubbing her as "The Godmother". After entering the merge, she and the rest of the Champions took control and Janine held power, pulling off a variety of blindsides. Eventually, she lost power when Luke Toki and Abbey flipped on the Champions at the final seven and eliminating Janine at the next Tribal Council.

Australian Survivor[]

Janine was originally an outsider on the Champions tribe due to the presence of seven athletes that held the power. After Anastasia Woolmer was voted out, Janine was targeted next due to her strategy backfiring at the Day 7 Immunity Challenge. In order to save herself, Janine appealed to Abbey Holmes and Ross Clarke-Jones's desire to keep the tribe strong by noting Susie Maroney's poor challenge performances. Together, Luke Toki, David Genat, Pia Miranda, and Janine pulled Abbey and Ross in to blindside Susie, create a new majority alliance, and systematically take out the remnants of the Sporty Seven. In the meantime, Janine found a Hidden Immunity Idol only to be used by a member of the Contenders tribe. She contemplated giving the idol to either John Eastoe or Shaun Hampson but instead kept it while David used the clue from Janine's idol to create a fake idol, switching it with Shaun for a real one. Janine, Abbey, and Pia became wary of David's rising confidence and their sub-alliance grew stronger in part because of it.

Janine found herself in a favorable position post-switch, in the majority with close allies Pia and Abbey, another strong ally in Ross, and outsider turned ally Simon Black over four original Contenders. Because Janine was switched to the Contenders tribe, her idol was now able to be used by her. A twist on Day 20 gave the Champions the opportunity to permanently steal Shaun from the Contenders, further strengthening the majority. During this time, Harry Hills attempted to convince the rest of the tribe that she was running the show, giving her the nickname "Godmother". Janine's alliance had two attempts to take out Harry pre-merge, both of which were thwarted by idols and instead resulted in Casey Hawkins and Matt Farrelly's eliminations due to successful split votes. Janine and Harry's rivalry, despite Janine going as far as throwing an Immunity Challenge to try to take him out, turned into a degree of mutual respect. When the Contenders lost the Immunity Challenge on Day 28, Janine decided to spare Harry and target physical threat Simon, but instead Tribal Council was cancelled due to Ross's evacuation following that challenge.

Once tribes merged, the remaining six Champions managed to outnumber the Contenders for the first time in the game through successfully blindsiding Andy Meldrum. Immediately after that move, Janine, Pia, and Abbey contemplated blindsiding David due to his strength in challenges, possession of an idol, and overall arrogance. David won immunity on Day 32, and due to the late finish of the challenge, the tribe immediately went to Tribal Council where they voted out David's biggest rival in Shaun. This actually created the perfect opportunity to blindside David as his confidence was even higher, and with the help of Simon and the four remaining Contenders, David was blindsided 8-2 with an idol in his pocket on Day 34. As the numbers dwindled and David left the game, Janine's threat status began to rise again. The Champions alliance stayed strong for the next two votes and Janine won individual immunity on Day 38, in addition to a Reward Challenge the previous day where Simon, Daisy Richardson, Pia, and Janine won a spa trip. However, Abbey and Luke being left at camp gave them an opportunity to scheme with Baden Gilbert and Harry about a potential flip. At Tribal Council, host Jonathan LaPaglia revealed that the vote would be to send someone to Exile Beach where they would compete against the next player voted out for a chance to re-enter the game. Thinking her alliance would stay loyal to assure a Contender goes, Janine targeted Baden on Day 40. However, Luke and Abbey flipped and blindsided Simon 4-3 instead. Although Simon managed to return, he would be voted out again for good on Day 42, confirming Janine's position on the bottom of the tribe for the first time since the beginning of the game.

Janine worked hard to save herself, bringing up a plan to vote out Luke to Harry and Baden as well as pitching to Abbey and Luke to rekindle their alliance. The more likely plan to succeed was halted when Luke won immunity on Day 44. Once again Janine and Pia tried to take out Baden, but the new four-person alliance stayed loyal and voted out Janine 4-2, making her the sixth member of the jury.
