In conjunction with her boyfriend Jon Misch, Jaclyn became a swing vote that dictated the direction of the game after the tribe switch. She became a key player in the Fab Five alliance, participated in the blindsides of Josh Canfield and Jeremy Collins, and was able to overcome Jon's elimination in order to make the Final Tribal Council. However, she lost to the more strategically aggressive Natalie Anderson in a 5-2-1 vote, only receiving two votes and thus coming in second place.

Name: Jaclyn Schultz (25)
Tribe Designation: TBD
Relationship to Significant Castaway: Jon's girlfriend
Current Residence: Las Vegas, Nev.
Occupation: Media Buyer
Personal Claim to Fame: Winning the title of Miss Michigan USA 2013, the first pageant I ever competed in and using the platform to be the first woman to ever come out with having MRKH syndrome (born without a uterus) on an international scale. MRKH syndrome affects 1 in approximately 4,500 women around the world.
Inspiration in Life: Giuliana Rancic for being so strong and open with her and her husband's journey with surrogacy.
Hobbies: Working out, painting and learning about wine.
Pet Peeves: Waiting in line.
3 Words to Describe You: Spontaneous, loyal and versatile.
If You Could Have 3 Things on The Island What Would They Be and Why? 1) My cell phone for photos. 2) The Bible to keep my mind occupied. 3) A stuffed animal to sleep with.
Survivor Contestant You Are Most Like: Jefra.
Reason for Being on Survivor: To challenge myself socially, mentally and physically. Also, to win the million dollars to be able to adopt and have a surrogate to start a family.
Why You Think You'll "Survive" Survivor: I am a survivor in my everyday life because I was diagnosed with a life altering syndrome at 16 and didn't let it destroy me. Being told I wasn't "normal" and could never have kids was the last thing I wanted to hear at that age. I've learned to try and turn every negative into a positive and that life will always throw hard things at you, but it's how you handle those obstacles that matter the most. This game is tough. It's challenging mentally, socially and physically and I know that I can overcome anything is thrown at me no matter how bad it hurts and no matter how many times I break down just because I have in my life.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole Survivor: I will never give up. No matter what happens in the game, there are always loopholes and opportunities to change the way things are going. After my diagnosis, I realized that life may not always deal you a good hand, but it's how you play the hand that can change it around.
What Does It Mean to You to Play Survivor with Your Loved One? Jon and I get to experience something that only three or four couples ever have. Blood vs. Water seems to be so much harder than playing as an individual because we have to learn how to maneuver through this social and physical game together. Our sole purpose of being on this show is to challenge ourselves, but to also win to start a family by adoption or surrogacy.[1]
Survivor[]
Jaclyn came on Survivor: San Juan del Sur with her boyfriend, Jon Misch. When it was time to separate, Jaclyn got an orange buff and ended up on Coyopa. Coyopa lost to Hunahpu and had to vote someone out. Jaclyn agreed with Nadiya Anderson with voting out Dale Wentworth because of being a potentially challenge liability. However at Tribal Council, Baylor Wilson flipped to the men and Nadiya was voted out in a 5-3-1 vote. At the second Immunity Challenge, Jaclyn went up against Kelley Wentworth and won. However, when Jaclyn went up against Kelley again, Jaclyn lost and Coyopa lost immunity again. Upset with her flip, Jaclyn and Val Collins decided to take advantage of an Split Vote to blindside Baylor. However, Josh Canfield switched his vote from Baylor to Val, causing a 4-4 tie. Jaclyn was the only person to vote against Baylor in the revote as Val was voted out 5-1.
Things took a positive turn for Coyopa when Wes Nale won the Hero's Duel against his father Keith. Wes picked fishing gear for the tribe. At the Immunity Challenge, Jaclyn only went up once with John Rocker and they won their won. However, Hunahpu still won immunity. Afterwards, Natalie Anderson started yelling at John because of his controversial comments against gays and minorities. John yelled right back and claimed he would hurt her if she was male. Jaclyn and Baylor both wanted John out because of his negative attitude and he left the game in a 5-2 vote. At the next Hero's Duel, Jaclyn faced off against Jon. In a close battle, Jaclyn lost to Jon and was sent off to Exile Island. Jon sent his friend and ally, Drew Christy to join. Drew shared his clue to the idol with Jaclyn and revealed to her that he wanted to throw the Immunity Challenge. Coyopa was finally able to win immunity and avoid elimination, in large part due to Drew losing the challenge on purpose.
On Day 10, at the Hero's arena, there was a tribe switch. Jaclyn stayed on Coyopa but was reunited with Jon. The young couple was very affectionate after they went back to camp. The couple learned that they were both on the bottom of their respective tribes. Tensions flared when Dale got annoyed with Missy Payne, who was cooking larger servings of Coyopa's carefully rationed rice. Despite the tribe switch, Coyopa still lost the Immunity Challenge. Jaclyn and Jon became the swing votes because of pairs Dale and Kelley, and Missy and Baylor. Jaclyn and Jon sided the mother-daughter and split the vote between the father-daughter in case of an Hidden Immunity Idol. Kelley was voted out in a 3-2-2 vote. In order to save himself, Dale offers Jon an "Hidden Immunity Idol" (which was just a thing Dale found on the first day) if he wasn't voted out. Jon was tempted by the offer. However, his alliance once again split the vote, voting Dale out in a 3-2-1 vote.
On Day 16, the tribes would merge into one and the remaining castaways celebrated with a feast. Jaclyn and Jon would end up the swing vote between Josh and Jeremy Collins' alliances, trying to oust the other from the game. The young couple sided with Josh's alliance. However, Tribal Council was cancelled because Julie McGee would quit the game. At the next Reward Challenge, Jaclyn was teamed with Jon, Josh, Baylor, and Alec Christy. Jaclyn's team lost and Jon was exiled. Without Jon around, Jaclyn noticed that Alec and Wes were dismissive of her. Jaclyn and Baylor were also annoyed with Alec and Wes' rude behavior. Jeremy would win immunity, once again foiling the attempt to vote him. Jaclyn pleaded with Jon to vote out Josh because his alliance didn't view her as an equal. Jaclyn also pointed out that she would not win immunity against of any member of Josh's alliance. Despite Jon's reservations, the young couple voted against Josh, sending him to the jury in a 6-5 vote.
At the next Reward Challenge, Jaclyn was teamed with Jon, Keith, Missy, and Wes. It was a one on one match-ups and Jaclyn went up twice against Natalie but lost both times. Jaclyn's team would lose the Reward Challenge. However, Jaclyn and Jon would still go on reward because of Jeremy and Natalie give up their rewards to the young couple. After Baylor won immunity, Jaclyn learned from Reed Kelly that Keith had the Hidden Immunity Idol. Jon also had an dispute with Jeremy when the latter believed that the former had found the Hidden Immunity Idol on exile. At Tribal Council, Jeremy was blindsided in a 5-3-2 vote.
After Tribal Council, Jaclyn and the main alliance explained Natalie on why they blindsided Jeremy. However, Natalie swore revenge on Jon. At the next Reward Challenge, Jaclyn, Jon, Reed, and Alec won the Reward Challenge and the trip to deliver baseball supplies to local village. Reed gave up his reward to allow Missy to go. During the trip, Jaclyn was touched by the children and strengthen her resolve to adopt after the show. At the Immunity Challenge, Jaclyn and Baylor stepped down for chocolate chip cookies. The primary target, Reed, won immunity. The Fab Five decided to split the votes between Keith and Wes. However, Reed wanted to take advantage of this and have his alliance vote out Jon. Thankfully, Jon used his Idol to avert this. As Keith used his idol as well, Wes ended up as leaving because he was the only one with votes against him.
Jaclyn thanked Natalie for urging Jon to use his idol. However, Jon forbid Jaclyn from giving anyone else credit for anything else because he wanted to look like the mastermind to the jury. Jaclyn was upset by his assumption that he was going to the end. The next Reward Challenge was the three chops challenges with questions based on facts of the castaways who made the merge. Reed and his alliance were quickly knocked out of the challenge. However, when it clear that the remaining competitors would throw the challenge to let a certain person win, the challenge was declared over and the castaways was asked who would win. Missy was made the winner and Jon volunteered to go to exile. Jaclyn was upset when Missy took Natalie over her. Back at camp, Alec, Keith, and Reed were quick to point out that Jaclyn and Jon were on the bottom of the alliance and wanted them to flip. Jaclyn was quick to tell Jon of their swing vote status. However, Jon just wanted to relax and was unwilling to work with Reed. The couple started arguing and didn't talk to one another with Jaclyn giving Jon the silent treatment for hours. After several attempts of trying to talk to her, Jon got fed up with her and gave up. At Tribal Council, Reed was unanimously voted out.
After Tribal Council, the couple made up. At the next Reward Challenge, it came down to Jaclyn and Natalie, but Jaclyn lost out to Natalie at the end. Natalie picked Jaclyn and Jon to join on reward. However, Natalie picked the young couple in order to lower their guards for the Jon blindside. Jon won individual immunity, unknowingly foiling Natalie's revenge plan. Jon wanted to have a split vote just in cast of Alec or Keith having the idol. Although Keith was supposed to have the most votes, Alec was the one who gotten his torch snuffed. Confused about the vote, Jon asked about who voted against Alec. It was revealed that Natalie voted against Alec rather than Keith. Natalie claimed that it was a mistake on her part. While Jon accepted this, Jaclyn was rightfully suspicious. At the Reward Challenge, Jaclyn was teamed with Baylor and Natalie but lost. Natalie was exiled and Jon gave his reward to Baylor. Jon and Jaclyn enjoyed their time alone. When Keith failed to win individual immunity, Jaclyn naturally assumed he was leaving. However at Tribal Council, The vote was a 2-2-2 tie between Jaclyn, Jon, and Keith. Jon was voted out in the revote.
After Jon's blindside, Jaclyn yelled at Natalie for the betrayal. However, Natalie was happy about Jaclyn's outburst because it discouraged the remaining castaways from working with her. Keith won the Reward Challenge, giving him an advantage for the next Immunity Challenge and the right to exile someone. Keith chose Jaclyn to be sent to Exile Island. Jaclyn was upset when Keith won immunity as she was aware she was the next target. However, Jaclyn was given a reprise when Natalie chose to make a bold move to the jury and use her idol on Jaclyn, sending Baylor to the jury instead. Jaclyn was thankful to still be in the game. At the Final Immunity Challenge, Jaclyn struggled with the obstacle course. However, she solved the puzzle the quickest in order to win. Although Jaclyn and Missy toyed with idea of voting out Natalie, the women held together and sent Keith to the jury.
At Final Tribal Council, Jaclyn's opening statement was that she overcame many adversities both in the game and in real life. Ultimately, Jaclyn was unable to convince the jury to make her the Sole Survivor and lost to Natalie in a 5-2-1 vote. Jaclyn got votes from Jon and Reed, with the latter voting for her to deprive Missy of a co-runner-up finish.
