Into the Shangri-La (走入香格里拉) is the Chinese version of the reality competition series, Survivor. It aired in late 2001.
This series is notably different from most other versions of Survivor, as it includes no vote offs or other eliminations. Instead, tribes travel through villages in remote mountainous regions in China while competing in challenges, trying to survive the conditions. A final challenge would take place at the end of the season, with one tribe winning the competition.
Despite high ratings, Chinese state media network CCTV decided not to renew the series for a second season.
