The Iban Alliance is the majority alliance on the switched Bajau tribe and the merged Empu tribe in Survivor South Africa: Malaysia.
Formed on Day 2 between a handful of the Iban tribe's strongest contributors, the alliance carved a numbers' advantage at the tribe switch. Despite turning on Lisa Atkinson, the alliance stuck together at the merge and a lucky break allowed them to gain the advantage over their rival Bajaus. Against high levels of interpersonal tension, the alliance held strong and picked off the rival Bajau Alliance.
