• Huyopa is the first green merged tribe since Enil Edam, and the sixth overall.
  • It is also the first 12-person tribe since Enil Edam, and the seventh overall.
• Huyopa is tied with Gitanos for the earliest Merge date, with both tribes merged on Day 16.
• Huyopa is the first merged tribe since Alinta to feature more than one LGBT member.
• Huyopa is the first Merged tribe in Survivor history to have its lowest placing member quit.
• Huyopa is the one of six Merged tribes to make their names from a combination of original tribe names: Chuay Jai, Chaboga Mogo, Xhakúm, Aitutonga, and Solarrion (of Survivor: Thailand, Survivor: All-Stars, Survivor: Guatemala, Survivor: Cook Islands and Survivor: Cagayan respectively) all followed a similar naming scheme.
• Huyopa is the first tribe in Survivor history to have a member voted off due to two Hidden Immunity Idols being played, being Wes Nale.
• Huyopa has the most number of castaways to be eliminated due to an idol being played, with two, and the most number of effective idol uses, with three.
