La Isla: El Reality[]
Hilario was a strong participant and quickly formed an alliance with his tribe mate Juan Ruíz. Also due to his strong character and the fact that he despaired easily, he had conflicts with his tribe mates, Lourdes Figueroa and María Renee Núñez. However, his strongest rivalry was with the first one and both tried to eliminate each other in the first trial of their tribe, but Lourdes was saved by the judges, which led to a revote in which Hilario received a vote from Lourdes, being at risk he did not mind voting for his ally Juan to save himself, being Juan the voted out.
During the following weeks, Hilario and Lourdes fixed their problems, they realized that they liked each other and Lourdes even said that she felt he was flirting with her. In the next trial of their tribe, because Yanilen Díaz had the Immunity Bracelet, Hilario supported Lourdes by voting for Gaby Fernández, but she was saved, which led again to a revote where he reaffirmed his support for Lourdes by voting for Julio César Frías, in the end it was not enough and Lourdes was eliminated.
Finally, Hilario was blindsided just before the merge in a trial where even though he was sure that Yanilen would be eliminated, his female teammates decided to vote for him, knowing that the individual stage was approaching and they considered him a strong rival.

^1 In Episode 20, the Sol tribe saved Lourdes, negating Hilario's vote against her. As Lourdes was to be voted out but was saved by the judges, all the votes were negated and a new vote had to be taken. Hilario voted for Juan on the revote.
^2 In Episode 32, the Sol tribe saved Gaby, negating Hilario's vote against her. As Gaby was to be voted out but was saved by the judges, all the votes were negated and a new vote had to be taken. This vote ended with a 2-2-1-1 tie between Julio César and Lourdes. Therefore, the saved by the judges (Gaby) had to decide the voted out between the contestants involved in the tie.
