Hell Hath Frozen Over is the eleventh episode of Survivor: Philippines.
Story[]
Night 27[]
After Pete Yurkowski is eliminated, Abi-Maria Gomes is the last remaining loyal member of the Tandang Alliance, thus making her the next target of the majority alliance.
Day 28[]
Instead of a Reward Challenge, a Survivor Auction is held.
Day 29[]
Day 30[]
Abi-Maria wins immunity with her advantage from the Survivor Auction. This makes Jonathan Penner the next target due to him rejecting Lisa Whelchel's final four deal earlier, saying "It's too early to be making deals like that". At Tribal Council, Jonathan manages to get Abi-Maria and Carter Williams to vote against Denise Stapley, but his plan comes up one vote short of the majority and he is sent home.
Challenges[]
Challenge: Survivor Auction
Challenge: Brains and Brawn
Castaways are attached to a rope, which is threaded to a hitching rail. The first five to complete this part move on Part 2. The final round consists of untying a series of rope gates, while navigating through a multi-level obstacle course. The first person to complete this will win immunity. Additionally, prior to each round, the castaways will be asked a trivia question about the Philippines. For each incorrect answer, they will have to carry an additional 5% of their body weight.
Additional Stipulations: For purchasing the Challenge Advantage during the auction, Abi-Maria Gomes is allowed to forgo the first two parts of the challenge, skipping directly to the finals.

Final Words[]
Jonathan |
“ | My strategy once again has failed. I'm very, very disappointed in myself for not doing better, but I guess that's the way Survivor crumbles. I've spent six years of my life with Survivor, I'm one of the lucky few that's played three times, and it's been fun and extremely painful. | ” |

Secret Scenes[]
- At the Immunity Challenge, the questions asked before each round are:
- Question #1: How many islands does the Philippines have? The answer is "greater than 5,000" (more specifically, 7,641 islands).
- Question #2: The Philippines is the largest importer of which of the following? (choices: corn, rice, coffee, sugar).

Behind The Scenes[]
Life at Ponderosa[]
At Ponderosa, Jonathan is greeted by RC who gives him a bottle of beer as a welcoming gift. RC admits that she would have voted for him had he made it to Final Three. RC speaks about the lack of bonding between the jurors at Ponderosa, and Jonathan might be the one who can "spice it up". During his medical evaluation, Jonathan learns he lost 24 lbs. (from 209.2 lbs. to 185.2 lbs.) after 30 days. Pete is delighted to have a drinking partner in Jonathan, since neither Artis nor Jeff drinks alcohol.
The next day, RC continues to release her cooped up emotions at Artis and Pete. With Dr. Tara's (the in-house psychologist) intervention, and Jonathan's vast Survivor experiences, the tensions will ease up. Later that day, RC plays boardgames with Artis and the rest of the jurors.
Other[]
- As Jonathan walks up to the voting booth, he audibly shouts Denise's name deliberately misspells her name with "Denies".
- After Jonathan's elimination, Carter is the last remaining original Kalabaw member remaining, while Michael is the last remaining returning player in the game.
- This marks the first time in the game that the original Matsing has more members remaining than a rival starting tribe. In this case, Kalabaw.
