Heather Aldret is a contestant from Survivor 41.
Out of the gate, Heather's age and lack of physical strength put her at a disadvantage on the physically-stacked Luvu tribe. However, she formed a tight bond with Erika Casupanan that, in combination with Luvu's undefeated record in Immunity Challenges, allowed her to push through and eventually make the final four. Unable to convince Xander Hastings of Erika's status as a jury threat, Heather was put into a fire-making challenge against Deshawn Radden, where she was eliminated in 4th place after narrowly losing the challenge.

Age: 52
Hometown: Charleston, S.C.
Current Residence: Charleston, S.C.
Occupation: Stay-at-home mom
Hobbies: Exploring, painting, tennis, and pickleball
Three Words to Describe You: Authentic, passionate, devoted
Pet Peeves: Loud cell phone talkers, people who choose not to hear the truth, bullies
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? With the profit I made with the sale of my first house which I bought all by myself, I was able to pay off the remainder of my student loans and all of my personal debt. Marrying my husband 100 percent debt-free was the absolute best gift to myself. I'm still raising two strong, courageous, kind daughters but I'm sure who they are becoming is undoubtedly going to be my absolute best accomplishment.
What is something we would never know from looking at you? I had a very challenging upbringing, have a passion for opossums, and I cuss like a drunken, sunburnt sailor.
Who is your hero and why? I know many heroes. My definition of a hero is anyone who goes against the grain and stands up for what he/she believes, in the face of ridicule, embarrassment and at the risk of being ostracized, all while being his/her true authentic self. I strive to be one and raise two of my own.
Which past Survivor will you play the game most like? Rick Devens — he played so hard with everything he had. Even when it was getting bad, he made his time fun! I want to make my experience a truly fun adventure, even if only for myself. I want to belly laugh when it's so tough. Tina Wesson — she was calculated, direct, but kind. Age and stature and her nurturing persona played in her favor, she inspired me. I'd embody the kindness of Lisa Whelchel, but with the savviness of Chrissy Hofbeck.
Why do you believe you can win Survivor? I'm sharp and observant, like OCD observant. I'm surprisingly very strong and have a ridiculously high threshold for pain. I'm resilient. I'm daring but careful. I build strong relationships. I'm likable and entertaining. I listen and learn. I will be the person who remembers where everyone is from and what they love on their pizza. I'll know their stories — the kids, pets, etc. I may not like them all, but I have the ability to convince them all that I do! I'll make people smile when they need to. I hope to make all feel included and important.[2]
Survivor[]
Heather's assignment to the dominant Luvu tribe compensated for her weakness in challenges. Throughout the pre-merge, Heather played a quiet game, highlights of which included forming a critical friendship with Erika Casupanan and making up a dream to target Sydney Segal, with whom she did not get along. Despite floundering one Reward Challenge, Heather had the support of her tribemates and was never targeted despite being the oldest member of her cast. Luvu's perfect record with Immunity Challenge allowed all six members, including Heather, to enter the merge.
At the merge, Heather was recruited by her Luvu tribemates into the All-Black Alliance to form a supermajority that controlled the early merge votes. However, by going rogue at one of the Tribal Councils and attempting to switch the target to her former tribemate Naseer Muttalif, her allies began to doubt her loyalty, with Naseer declaring his ire for her apparent act of duplicity. At the Double Elimination on Day 17, Heather was grouped with Erika (who had won individual immunity), Naseer, Ricard Foyé, and Shan Smith and was unable to convince Naseer to work with them due to her earlier gaffe. Fortunately, Ricard convinced Shan to take out Naseer to flush his idol, and Heather played up her disappointment with her impending elimination to lull Naseer into a false sense of confidence that eventually contributed to his elimination.
Heather would then be recruited into Ricard's Final Four Alliance, which took control after blindsiding Shan on Day 19. This would be the catalyst for a heavy conversation about race at the following Tribal Council where Deshawn Radden negotiated the dilemma between making the best strategic moves for himself and doing the Black community justice. Heather comforted Deshawn through his outpouring of emotions and vowed to introspect about her relationship with race as a sheltered Caucasian. Regardless, because Danny McCray had won the Immunity Challenge and Deshawn won immunity through the Do or Die game, Heather sided with her alliance to vote off Liana Wallace as the only remaining vulnerable member of her alliance.
Although Heather intended to vote Ricard off next, he won immunity, leading to a desperate situation for Deshawn. At Tribal Council, Deshawn made a Hail Mary with a "truth bomb", revealing that Erika did not intend to go to the end with Heather as she may have thought. Deshawn was saved over Danny that night. The next day, when Erika won the Reward/Immunity Challenge, she shared the steak dinner with Heather. The two women debriefed and reaffirmed their "unlikely" friendship to each other. After finally taking Ricard out, Heather made it to the final four. She was unsuccessful in convincing Xander Hastings to put Erika up for the fire-making challenge, and so the challenge was held between Deshawn and Heather. After a tight race that was decided by seconds, Heather was eliminated, becoming the final member of the jury.
At Final Tribal Council, Heather voted for her friend Erika to win the title of Sole Survivor, which she did in a 7-1-0 vote.
