He Has Demons is the second episode of Survivor: South Pacific.
Story[]
Day 4[]
At Upolu, Brandon Hantz feels that he is betraying Coach Wade by not telling him his last name, so he decides to tell Coach that he is Russell Hantz's nephew, much to Coach's shock. Brandon asks Coach to not tell anyone and that he will not backstab Coach. Coach knows that he could be possibly being deceived, but he is willing to take a chance, even if it means him looking like a fool once again on Survivor. Once again, Brandon feels uncomfortable around Mikayla Wingle, so his desire to vote her out as soon as possible intensifies.
At Savaii, Jim Rice, Keith Tollefson, and Ozzy Lusth decide to go swimming, and Jim uses this as an opportunity to make a bold move that could benefit him for a long time to come if it suffices. Jim tells Keith and Ozzy that they should align with Elyse Umemoto and Whitney Duncan so that they can form the final five and systematically vote out Dawn Meehan, John Cochran, and Mark Caruso, but when the time comes, the guys would take out Elyse and Whitney to become the Final Three. Neither Keith nor Ozzy seem to be against the plan, but neither seem completely into it at the same time, with Keith somewhat unsure, but glad that Jim thinks that he is in charge when it is not necessarily true.
Day 5[]
In the combined Reward/Immunity Challenge, Savaii's Cochran, Elyse, Dawn, and Whitney compete against Upolu's Mikayla, Christine Shields Markoski, Sophie Clarke, and Stacey Powell in the first part, while Jim, Keith, Mark, and Ozzy of Savaii compete against Brandon, Coach, Albert Destrade, and Rick Nelson of Upolu in the second part. Edna Ma sat out, since Upolu has an extra member. Upolu took an early lead from the first part, but after Savaii completed the second part, the men of Savaii managed to get the lead and eventually win the challenge for Savaii.
Back at camp, Christine feels that the guys did not give enough effort in the challenge. Coach gathers his core alliance to split their votes and says that three of them would vote against Christine, while two of them, along with Edna, who is in the alliance on a need-to-know basis, would vote against Stacey. If Christine has the Hidden Immunity Idol and uses it, then they would get Stacey out, but if Christine does not use it and there is a revote, they would target Christine. Brandon, however, is really firm about voting out Mikayla since he does not like her, but no one sees reason in Brandon's desire except for Coach. Although Coach feels that although Brandon's reasons for wanting Mikayla out are valid, he believes that now would not be the time to get rid of her. Christine and Stacey try to get information from Edna, but to no avail, which, along with Edna not being strong, makes them want to target Edna. Brandon, as a last resort to get Mikayla out, tells Coach that Christine and Stacey are voting against Mikayla, when in reality, they both do not want to.
At Tribal Council, Coach calls out Christine and Stacey for targeting Mikayla who both hastily deny targeting her. Host Jeff Probst then says that if Mikayla were to be voted out, it would be one of the quietest exits that he has seen in a while. Brandon later confesses that he lied to Coach about Christine and Stacey wanting Mikayla out. Despite the drama, the majority alliance stayed strong and stuck with the plan, which, along with Mikayla's vote, gets Christine voted out 4-3-1-1.
Later, Christine arrives at Redemption Island and attempts to wake up Semhar Tadesse, her opponent in the first duel.
Challenges[]
Reward/Immunity Challenge: Crate Escape

They will then use those keys to release the other four tribe members, who must then solve a Klotski puzzle. Once the largest crate is out, all eight members must then lift their crate onto the finish platform. The first tribe to get their crate on the finish platform wins reward and immunity.
Reward: Pillows, blankets, a hammock, and a mat.
Winner:
Savaii
Redemption Island[]

Trivia[]
- This is the first time since "Something Cruel Is About to Happen... Real Soon" in Fiji that four different people receive a vote against them at Tribal Council.
- Due to the uneven gender ratio between the tribes, John Cochran is the only male contestant to not participate in the second part of the Reward/Immunity Challenge.
