Koh-Lanta[]

For the opening challenge for rice and for the power to choose their tribemates, Hakim was partnered with Irya Cissé, Céga Coulibaly, and Jessica Joullié. The team of Nathalie Ensargueix, Frédéric Favier, Christopher Lavaud, and Carole Rapin won the challenge and they did not select Hakim to be a part of the Tayak tribe. Therefore, Hakim became a member of the Mingao tribe. Hakim stood out on his tribe for his occasional irritability as he was unable to smoke cigarettes during the competition, his daily routine of jogging alongside the beach, and his other antics, which sometimes annoyed his tribemates. Hakim formed a small alliance with Irya and Céga. The Tayak tribe initially won the first Reward Challenge, in which the reward was fire, but the victory and the reward were transferred to the Mingao tribe later that day as it was discovered that Frédéric and Christopher had broken the rules at one point in the challenge. After the Mingao tribe lost the first Immunity Challenge, the trio voted against Valérie Tartacède-Bollaert at Tribal Council for being out of her element and for her challenge weakness. However, Irya was voted out by the majority alliance, which did not include Valérie, because they felt that she was weaker than Valérie.

When Valérie quit the game on Day 4 due to being out of her element, Irya returned to the game on Day 5 in her place. However, the second cycle was a near repeat of the first cycle. The Mingao tribe lost the second Immunity Challenge and Irya and Hakim voted against Jessica and Charlène Hoffness, respectively, but the majority alliance of four voted out Irya again. The next day, Alain Garcia, who entered the game in Céga's place after the latter was evacuated and eliminated from the game on Day 5 due to intense stomach pain, arrived at the Mingao camp with a bag of rice as a welcoming gift and he was well-received by his new tribemates. Though the Mingao tribe lost the third Reward Challenge, they won the third Immunity Challenge mainly due to Jean-Bernard's strategy to swim in front of the raft. This would be the only time that the Mingao tribe won an Immunity Challenge. When the Mingao tribe lost the fourth Immunity Challenge, Alain was worried that he would get the axe at the corresponding Tribal Council because he was the newest tribe member. At Tribal Council, Denis Brogniart discussed with the Mingao tribe about their lack of communication, especially during the last two challenges, which prompted the tribe to designate Jean-Bernard as their leader. Charlène and Jessica voted against Alain, but the tribe's men prioritized strength over affiliation and they blindsided Jessica, who they felt was the new weakest link. When the Mingao tribe lost the fifth Immunity Challenge, Hakim, Alain, and Charlène all felt threatened going into Tribal Council. Hakim had annoyed Régis Colombier, a member of the tribe's majority alliance, earlier in the cycle when waking him up, Alain was the newest member of the tribe, and Charlène was the last woman standing. At Tribal Council, the majority alliance stuck together and voted out Alain as they felt that, even though he wasn't weak in challenges, his introduction to the Mingao tribe didn't do much to improve their track record in challenges.

Before the tribes merged, both designated tribe leaders, Bertrand Bolle and Jean-Bernard Hauton-Arnaud, were selected as the Ambassadors for their respective tribes and visited their rivals' camps. Both men spent their visits trying to get to know their rivals rather than discussing what the voting dynamics might become in the individual phase. However, Bertrand also hinted to the Mingao tribe members that there might be some people on his own tribe that are more deserving of the Ambassadors' vote than they are and Jean-Bernard also talked about Hakim and his funny behaviour around camp, but also implied that Hakim was the fellow Mingao tribe member that he'd be willing to lose first. At the Ambassadors' Meeting, Bertrand and Jean-Bernard quickly opted for a draw, which resulted in Bertrand receiving the Ambassadors' vote. When the tribes merged, Hakim very quickly socialized with the original Tayak tribe members and tried to convince them not to vote for him. This behaviour was seen as sycophancy by Hakim's fellow original Mingao tribe members and this annoyed them on top of everything else that had annoyed them in relation to Hakim in the past. In response, Hakim's fellow original tribe members made plans to vote against Hakim at the merged tribe's first Tribal Council and Jean-Bernard attempted to rally votes against Hakim from the original Tayak tribe members. However, all of the original Tayak tribe members, with the exception of Christophe Guttatoro-Martin and along with Hakim, voted out Jean-Bernard because of his status as the leader of his alliance, his challenge prowess, and his negative attitude and criticisms concerning Hakim.

At the Final Ten, the original Tayak tribe members made plans to vote out one of their own, Nathalie, because they still thought that she was being somewhat lazy around camp. On top of this reason, the alliance's men wanted to cancel Nathalie's attempts at making an all-female alliance. However, the day of the merged tribe's second Tribal Council, Christopher was evacuated to the infirmary as he was suffering from irregular heartbeat patterns. This prompted the original tribe members, with the exception of Nathalie, who was out of the loop, and Christopher, who was at the infirmary, to change their plans and vote out Hakim instead. They did this as they didn't want the original Mingao tribe members to go into the Final Nine with four in numbers, including Jean-Bernard, if Christopher were to be permanently evacuated from the game before the vote. The next day, when Christopher was permanently evacuated and eliminated from the game because he needed to go to the hospital for more tests, Hakim returned to the game in his place. At the Final Nine, Christophe, who felt personally insulted by Bertrand telling him that his actions at the previous Tribal Council were brainless, turned on Bertrand and tried to rally his tribemates to vote him out on the basis of him being too authoritarian as an alliance leader. This backfired as Christophe, who was now seen as treacherous for his scheming, replaced Nathalie as the black sheep of the original Tayak tribe members and was outcasted by the tribe, including the original Mingao tribe members, for the remainder of the cycle. At the corresponding Tribal Council, Christophe was voted out unanimously.

At the Final Eight, Bertrand and his alliance decided that they would resume their pagonging of the original Mingao tribe members for the next few cycles. Hakim became their second victim at the Final Seven, especially considering that he had been temporarily evacuated earlier in that cycle due to him developing a stomach ulcer.

Despite making it deep enough into the game to be a part of the jury, Hakim did not become a juror because he requested to return to France immediately in order to have his stomach ulcer treated. Because his fourth child had just recently been born at the time, Hakim was the only contestant this season not present for the live final vote count in Paris.
