Game of Throw-Ins is a recurring Survivor challenge. It debuted in Survivor: San Juan del Sur before reappearing internationally in Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn (2021).

Rules

Each tribe will divide into pairs and be tethered together. One pair from each tribe will maneuver through the obstacles inside the game field to retrieve their tribe-colored ball. They will then attempt to shoot it into a basket. If they miss, the ball will bounce away from the shooters, forcing them to chase after the ball. The first tribe to score a set number of points wins.

History

The challenge debuted in Survivor: San Juan del Sur as the third Immunity Challenge. This challenge was the site of a confrontation between Coyopa member John Rocker and Hunahpu members Jeremy Collins and Natalie Anderson, who exposed John's history of making racist and homophobic comments and challenged Coyopa to vote him out. In the end, Hunahpu won the challenge and sent Coyopa to their third consecutive Tribal Council.
