Gabriela was part of the Banda tribe. The first few weeks her tribe considered her weak, but it turned out the opposite, reason why she was safe during several Trials.
She competed at the Captains' Challenge of pre-merge, where after being in last place, she won the challenge, so she formed the new Banda tribe. Gabriela after this challenge obtained some injuries.
At the ninth Trial, Gabriela was the emissary and nominated Juan Carlos Vergara.
In the second week of the merge, she was the penultimate place in the Immunity Challenge, but Fernanda de la Mora used her Totem's Power and Gabriela was nominated.In the deathly duel she made a great effort to save herself, but it was not enough and she was eliminated.
