Gabriela "Gabby" Pascuzzi[2] is a contestant from Survivor: David vs. Goliath.
Despite wearing her emotions on her sleeves, Gabby proved her strategic acumen while on the original David tribe by aligning with Christian Hubicki and orchestrating Jessica Peet's blindside, though the latter move made her a target. Despite being at the bottom following the Tribe Switch, a lengthy immunity streak brought her to the merge, where she and the rest of her David Alliance wrestled the majority away from the Goliath Alliance. At the final eight, however, she decided to target Christian, seeing him as a major threat who would draw credit away from the moves they executed together. Unfortunately, her plan backfired when Christian played his Hidden Immunity Idol, causing her to get blindsided instead.

Who or what is your inspiration in life? Anyone brave enough to: be vulnerable, love with their whole heart, or speak out against injustice. Any anyone brave enough to rock bangs.
If you could have three things on the island what would they be and why? A phone to call my family and friends for love and advice. A journal so I could record my thoughts and plot out strategy. A mirror because I'd be scared something would be in my teeth the entire time and no one would tell me.
Which Survivor contestant are you most like? I relate to Aubry because she is both smart and emotionally intelligent. I am prone to tear-filled moments like Dawn. And I'm flirty like Parvati... if she were bad at flirting and only nerdy guys liked her.
What's your reason for being on Survivor? Human psychology and social dynamics fascinate me, and I'm excited to insert myself into the craziest experiment out there. I simultaneously love and hate pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I want to see if I can rise above the mental, emotional, and physical turmoil found in this game.
Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor? I have the knowledge of the game, but I'm social enough to hide it and not be a (complete) dork. I'm an emotional, empathetic person who happens to have the capacity for analytical thinking. My balance between brain and heart will win me allies and a million dollars.[3]
Survivor
Gabby was originally placed on the David tribe where she formed an alliance with Christian Hubicki on Day 1. While David lost the first Immunity Challenge, Tribal Council was cancelled due to Pat Cusack's medical evacuation. When David again lost the next Immunity Challenge, Gabby attempted to get reassurance from Bi Nguyen and Jessica Peet about the plan to vote out Lyrsa Torres. However, their lack of information made Gabby paranoid and caused her to turn on them. Gabby went to Lyrsa and Elizabeth Olson, and the three set the target on Jessica. Gabby then pulled in Christian and Nick Wilson and at Tribal Council, Jessica was blindsided in a 5-4 vote. Following Tribal Council, however, Christian and Nick told Davie Rickenbacker that Gabby was the reason for Jessica's elimination. The following day, Nick plotted with Bi and Davie about getting Gabby out next as they saw her as a threat.
At the Tribe Switch on Day 10, Gabby and Christian were moved to the new Tiva tribe and were joined by former Goliath members Alison Raybould, Dan Rengering, and John Hennigan. While on Tiva, Gabby constantly expressed her feelings of being on the outs as Christian bonded with Dan and John. However, she eventually gained some hope as Alison expressed desire to work with her and take out Dan.
When the tribes merged into the Kalokalo tribe on Day 18, Gabby and the rest of the David Alliance found themselves outnumbered 7-6 by the opposing Goliath Alliance. Prior to the Kalokalo's first Tribal Council, former Elizabeth told Gabby that Angelina Keeley had notified her that Elizabeth was the target, with Gabby encouraging her to throw Angelina under the bus at Tribal Council. At Tribal Council, however, Gabby contributed to Elizabeth's unanimous elimination. Though down in numbers, the David Alliance managed to find several advantages over the next few days. Together, they pooled their advantages together to take out John, followed by Dan, at the next two Tribal Councils.
Over the next several days, Gabby grew frustrated with Carl Boudreaux's controlling personality. While Carl targeted Alec Merlino next, Gabby wanted Carl out, for not including her in his strategic conversations. At Tribal Council, however, she aided in Alec's unanimous elimination. The next day, Gabby plotted with Alison and Christian about getting Carl out. On Day 30, Christian notified Gabby that Carl wanted to lie to Gabby about getting Angelina out. At Tribal Council, Gabby got her way as the three of them pulled in Kara Kay and Mike White to blindside Carl.
After the Reward Challenge on Day 31, Gabby began to realize how big of a threat Christian was and that he was taking all the credit for the moves that they had made together. With that in mind, she notified Alison and Kara that she wanted Christian out. When Kara won the next Immunity Challenge, she continued her ploy by giving Christian false hope that she was with him. At Tribal Council, however, Christian played his Hidden Immunity Idol, negating the five votes against him. A stunned Gabby was then left to see that the rest of the tribe had split their votes between her and Christian, sending her to the jury in a 2-1-0 vote.
At the Final Tribal Council Gabby gave Angelina credit for finding an idol and pointed out that statistically women don't find idols very often. When she went to the voting boot to vote she cried and said she did not know what to do. She ultimately cast her vote to Nick who would win 7-3-0.
