Friends Going to War is the season finale of Survivor 46.
Story[]
“ | The remaining five castaways must overcome multiple obstacles to guarantee they cannot be voted out of this game in the penultimate immunity challenge. | ” |
—Episode Synopsis[1] |
Night 23[]
A blindsided Maria praises her tribemates for their deft strategic maneuver to vote out Q at the previous Tribal Council. Her tribemates meet her condescension with disdain.
“ | Q, my darling, you got played! (laughs) I'm so excited! | ” |
“ | Maria says that she finally sees that we are actually playing the game… (makes a face) Just a face, I don't even have words, just a face for that. But at this point in the game, Maria has a giant target on the back. | ” |
“ | I am definitely on the bottom, and now, you know, there's a massive target on me. Winning tomorrow is imperative, like, this is the time to just like, go for it, to fight as hard as I can and hopefully either win or go down fighting. | ” |
Later, Maria attempts to do damage control with Charlie by saying that Kenzie and Liz had approached her with the plan to vote him out; while Charlie does not buy her story, he is glad to still have a working relationship with her.
Day 24[]
Day 25[]
Day 26[]
Challenges[]
Challenge: Fifth Element
The castaways will complete an obstacle course, including a net crawl and a rope tunnel, before climbing a tower. There, they will solve a jigsaw puzzle, which when complete will instruct them to count the number of geckos on the puzzle, the number of puzzle pieces, and the number of holes in a plank they encountered during the course. They will then put the numbers into a combination lock. The first person to break their lock wins.
Reward: A pasta dinner at the Survivor sanctuary.
Winner: Kenzie Petty (shared with Ben Katzman)
Challenge: Plinko Puzzle
Castaways will have to roll a ball up a ramp and into a plinko board. While the ball is rolling down the plinko board, they must solve a jigsaw puzzle, while keeping an eye on the ball. When the ball is close to the end of the plinko board, the castaways must grab the ball and roll it back up the board. If a castaway misses catching the ball, they must wait for the ball to roll down to the end of a gutter before they can roll the ball back up the ramp and return to solving their puzzle. The first castaway to complete the puzzle wins.
Winner: Ben Katzman
