Friends? is the eighth episode of Survivor: The Australian Outback.
Story[]
Day 22[]
After Jeff's elimination, the ex-Kuchas start to scramble, knowing that they are in trouble now that Ogakor has the numbers advantage. Rodger speculated that the Ogakors will pick them off one by one, but he tried to make himself useful by catching fish. Still, Keith and Tina aren't sure they want to eliminate all the Kuchas before any of the Ogakors. They want to go to the end with people they like and respect.
Jerri continues to annoy everyone around camp with her bossiness. Elisabeth hopes to take advantage of this crack in the alliance. Elisabeth shared her plan with Rodger and Alicia, then tries to work on Tina. Tina says that Jerri "will get hers" at some point, but won't make any promises about when it will happen.
Day 23[]
The next Reward Challenge tests the castaways' boomerang-tossing abilities. Jerri beats out Amber by a nose, winning a meal of shrimp, chicken, and dessert. Jeff allowed her to bring someone with her, and Jerri chooses Amber, the second-place finisher and her closest ally. While Jerri and Amber are off enjoying their delicious meal, the other tribemates back at Barramundi camp seem to like Jerri's absence. They agree that it is much more peaceful without her. Jerri and Amber's return to camp is greeted with indifference. After Jerri talked strategy with Colby, Colby interviews that he has promised Keith and Tina he will go to the final three with them, but that he has also told Jerri he is allied with her.
Day 24[]
The Immunity Challenge is a life-size version of the pen-and-paper game "Dots and Boxes," in which players must complete squares by connecting lines between dots. Keith has a huge turn by taking 17 squares at once, giving him his second straight Immunity victory, despite Tina trying to make a run for it with 16 squares.
As the vote approaches, Elisabeth is hopeful that she can turn the tables on Jerri. Alicia, though, is less optimistic. She thinks that either Nick or herself will be booted, because they're the biggest challenge threats on Kucha. At Tribal Council, Alicia's suspicions are proven correct. Deemed as the strongest remaining Kucha female, she is booted in a tight 5-4 vote over Jerri. Alicia becomes the first member of the jury.
Challenges[]
Challenge: Return to Sender
Each person must stand inside a white circle of a target and throws their boomerang, aiming for the red flag in the center of the target.
Reward: A full course meal, shared with one tribemate
Winner: Jerri Manthey (shared with Amber Brkich)
Challenge: Don't Fence Me In
The playing field consists of posts in rows of ten with ropes hanging from one side of the post. The Survivor who "owns" the most squares wins.

Final Words[]
Alicia |
“ | I have to say that I was expecting this. We knew that I was going to be a threat, and I just hope somebody from Kucha can take this thing out and break Ogakor's spirit. It's all good, though. Now I get to sit on the jury and watch everything that happens. Peace, out. | ” |
