Koh-Lanta[]
Representing the west of France, François was placed on the Vakara tribe. Proud of his Basque heritage, François was well-liked by his tribemates as a fatherly figure. However, he had a clumsy start to the game as he lost his bathing suit which was swept away by the high tide. Fortunately, François was able to find his bathing suit floating close to the shore a couple of days later and, more importantly, the Vakara tribe did not finish last in any of the first four challenges. When celebrating with his tribemates after they had secured immunity in the second immunity challenge, François hurt his leg and needed to be temporarily evacuated from the game. Unfortunately for François, this evacuation became permanent when it was determined that he had torn a muscle in his calf. His unorthodox elimination allowed for Marie-France Schieber to return to the game on the Vakara tribe in his place.
