Zamba is a tribe from Survivor South Africa: Immunity Island.

Zamba is known for its drama and having a poor track record in challenges in each iteration. The original Zamba members had a chaotic early game, but after the first tribe switch, Zamba took advantage of Vuna's division by staying united, but Vuna caught on after the second switch. Zamba was systematically voted out at the merge after a major play, but once Vuna self-imploded, one of the two remaining Zambas became the eventual Sole Survivor. Their tribe color is green.

Notes: ^1 The tribes raced to collect supplies. During the challenge, the castaways were also given the chance to claim their tribe's individual Immunity Necklace. The person that took the necklace would be safe at their first Tribal Council. However, no one claimed Vuna's necklace. ^2 This Reward Challenge saw an individual of each tribe battle for a reward item. The winner of each battle kept the reward for their tribe. ^3 Due to medical reasons, Shaun had to sit out of the challenge. ^4 The castaways individually decided whether to play for reward or immunity. The last person standing for their respective match wins what they chose to play for. Additionally, the last person standing in the reward match wins reward for their tribe, as well as a bigger reward for themselves. No one on Zamba chose to play for immunity. ^5 A Hidden Immunity Idol was played, negating all votes against its user.

Trivia

• Due to the season being originally planned to be filmed in the Philippines, the tribe was supposed to be named "Ahas", which means "snake" in Filipino. The tribe's color and snake head tribe emblem, however, remained.
  • The side pattern used on Zamba's buff is called Dwennimen, an Adinkra symbol from Ghana.
• Zamba is the first green tribe in Survivor South Africa.
• Zamba is the first tribe from Survivor South Africa to produce multiple Sole Survivors.
