Expedition Robinson 2000 is the first season of Expedition Robinson (Austria) and the first season of Survivor (Germany). The prize for the winner was DM 100,000, equivalent to roughly US$82,500 in 2021.
Melanie Lauer defeated Thomas Irawan in a 4-3 vote to become the Sole Survivor.

Format[]
- Regional Tribe Division: The castaways were divided by their country of origin. The North Team was formed by Germans, while the South Team was formed by Austrians.
- Jokers: If anyone either quit or was evacuated, a joker entered the game to replace them. They would join the tribe that castaway was eliminated from. A total of three jokers entered the game:
- Nico joined the North Team in Episode 2 to replace Claudia, who was evacuated.
- Ulrike Paris joined the South Team in Episode 4 to replace Babsi, who quit.
- Julia joined the North Team in Episode 6 to replace Lorraine, who quit.
- Challenge Eliminations: At the final four, two challenges occurred, with the last-placing finisher being eliminated in each challenge. The remaining castaways formed the Final Two.
