Expeditie Robinson 2003 is the fourth season of the Dutch/Belgian reality television series Expeditie Robinson. This season began airing on September 13, 2003 and concluded on December 6, 2003.

Jutta Borms defeated Judge Chambliss in a 5-4 jury vote to become the Sole Survivor. Initially, the Final Two tied in a 4-4 jury vote, but the public cast the deciding vote, with Jutta receiving 66% of the votes.

Twists

• Battle of the Sexes: For the second time, the castaways were divided into tribes based on gender, but with one member of the opposite sex on both tribes.
• Tribe Leaders: Both tribes started with a leader, who was the opposite sex to the rest of their tribe. They would be granted immunity at their respective tribe's first Tribal Council. They would also both be given the responsibility of casting the deciding vote when there was a tied vote in the tribal phase of the game.
• Tribe Switch: On Day 10, a Tribe Switch occurred.
• Devil's Island: In a drastically game-changing twist, after a castaway gets voted out at a Tribal Council after the merge, the castaway will not be eliminated right away. Instead, they would be sent to Devil's Island, where they would take part in a series of duels. The remaining inhabitant of Devil's Island would return to the game at the final three.
• Semi-final Challenge: At the final three, the castaways competed in a challenge. The losers would be eliminated, while the winners would form the Final Two.

Trivia

• Both the youngest members of each tribe (Simon Monbaliu and Marlieke Muilwijk) were the first to be voted out of their respective tribes.
  • Coincidentally, both were aged 19.
• Episode 3 featured a highly unusual split vote, with all but one member of Pantai (all of them women) receiving at least one vote. Esther Poel was voted out in a plurality after receiving just two votes.
  • Björn Lemeire was the only person not to receive a vote at this Tribal Council. Coincidentally, he was also Pantai's tribe leader, though he was no longer immune like he had been for their first Tribal Council.
• This is the first season of Expeditie Robinson in which the Final Two started the game on different tribes.
