Esteban, 40 ans
Koh-Lanta[]
Esteban was selected by Helena Roosen to be a part of the Tinago tribe. Esteban initially aligned himself socially with Rudy Noël and Helena and his camp and social work enabled him to survive the first few cycles. At the Final Sixteen, a tribe switch took place and Esteban was assigned by Rudy to be a member of the second Tinago tribe. On the second Tinago tribe, the original Paniman tribe members and the original Tinago tribe members found themselves equal in numbers, however, the majority of both groups were united in fearing that Tania Cakarevic and Rudy had gotten too close to each other for comfort. In turn, Esteban joined this majority in voting out Tania at the Tinago tribe's next Tribal Council, though he was left out of Rudy's elimination at the one right after. For the remainder of the tribal phase, the Tinago tribe did not attend anymore Tribal Councils and Esteban remained safe, though other contestants developed a negative perception of Esteban as he came across like he wasn't wanting to give it his all.
After the tribes merged, the second Paniman tribe members held the majority and Esteban joined them in pagonging his fellow second Tinago tribe members, though Esteban was just delaying what seemed to be inevitable at this point. At the Final Nine, after Gilles De Baere decided to share his reward with Nicolas Pretot after he won the corresponding individual Reward Challenge, the women of the tribe began realizing that Gilles had made a lot of endgame deals with people. Thus, an alliance between the four women and Esteban emerged and, after Gilles failed to win the third individual Immunity Challenge, they blindsided him at the corresponding Tribal Council.
Though Esteban was now part of a solid Final Five alliance, things shook up again at the Final Eight as the Tied Destinies twist took place which, due to the equal number of men and women among them, forced each pair to have a man and a woman. The pairings were Tania, who had returned to the game earlier during the tribal phase, and Frédéric Khouvilay, Julie Debever and Nicolas, Esteban and Clémence Noquet, and Quentin Paygnard and Laura Yelpa, with Tania and Frédéric winning the corresponding individual Immunity Challenge. In terms of planning for Tribal Council, the minority alliance of Frédéric, Quentin, and Nicolas evidently felt that their best move would be to target the pair of Esteban and Clémence and, out of self-preservation, their partners got on board with that save for Laura, who was willing to sacrifice Julie in order to keep Clémence around. At Tribal Council, Quentin joined Esteban, Clémence, and Laura in voting against Nicolas in order to feign loyalty to his partner, but Julie had an Extra Vote and Nicolas had a Black Vote which they used to help vote out Esteban, causing Clémence's exit as well due to the Tied Destinies twist.
After leaving the Tribal Council area, Esteban and Clémence competed in a duel for the right to compete in another one against the next person voted out for a chance to return to the game. Esteban won this duel and faced Tania in another one a couple of days later which he lost, permanently eliminating him. He finished in seventh place and became the fifth member of the jury.
At the Final Tribal Council, Esteban voted for Tania to win the title of Sole Survivor; she lost to Frédéric in a 7-2 vote.
