La Isla: El Reality[]
El Bofo started in the Celebrities tribe, at the beginning he was seen as a quiet and calm person, this made him get along well with Belem Guerrero, but in the first trial his tribe decided to eliminate her, so he had no choice but to vote for her, she also voted for him because he was the one she trusted the most.
Throughout the first part of the game he was a key player for his tribe. After the tribe switch, his tribe was forced to eliminate Daniel Elbittar because of his injury and in the next trial he was the last man on the tribe after Ivonne Montero decided to take revenge and plan the elimination of Ricardo Casares. After a short winning streak, his tribe lost again and along with Ivonne convinced Julia Orayen to fake an injury to be voted out.
He made it through to the merge where he became friends with his former rival Julio César Frías, as they were the last two men in the competition. El Bofo was the target of the women of the Luna tribe that week, but he won the Final Challenge. In the trial he betrayed his former teammate Ivonne, because he knew she could beat him.
After Ivonne's elimination, he earned the scorn of Celia Lora and Mariana Torres, especially Celia, who even called him a traitor. Although the women planned to vote for him in the next trial, he was again immune, so they eliminated Yanilen Díaz because she was injured.
In the Final 5, he had to go to his first Deathly Duel against Mariana and Gaby Fernández, although he got through the duel, his performance was still weaker than normal and he had to return to another Deathly Duel against Gaby, whom he managed to eliminate. Finally he lost the semifinal against María Renee Núñez and Julio César.
