Edgardo Rivera is a contestant from Survivor: Fiji.
Throughout the pre-merge, Edgardo's strong challenge performances and his alliance with the Four Horsemen allowed him to rise to the majority of both of his tribes and was able to get to the merge, where he fell into a minority. While he and his alliance had intended on using the Hidden Immunity Idol they had acquired to their benefit, alliance defector Dreamz Herd told the others about their possession. Being seen as the least likely to play the idol, he was blindsided at the Tribal Council that followed.

Survivor[]
Edgardo was the last person assigned by Sylvia Kwan to be on the Moto tribe. The Moto tribe won the first and most important challenge, allowing them to stay at the luxurious camp that all the castaways built. Because of this, Moto dominated the challenges leaving the opposing tribe Ravu in poverty. During this time, Edgardo aligned himself with Alex Angarita, Boo Bernis, Lisi Linares, and Stacy Kimball. Liliana Gomez would also become close to the group, although she wasn't considered a member by the alliance. Unfortunately, problems emerged on Day 10 when Gary Stritesky, who had been breathing heavily since an earlier Reward Challenge, decided to quit due to medical reasons. When the tribe won the next Immunity Challenge, they were given an ultimatum: keep immunity and go the Ravu camp, or keep the luxurious Moto camp and go to Tribal Council and vote someone off. The tribe chose to go to Tribal Council and eliminated Liliana for fear that if they didn't get rid of her, they would have a major threat in the merge. Moto won the next two challenges, as usual, keeping the group intact.
On Day 15, when a tribe switch was announced, both Edgardo and Earl Cole stepped forward. Jeff Probst deemed them the ones to start the Schoolyard Pick. Edgardo started the process by picking Mookie and he would pick Alex. When the new tribes were complete, Edgardo's tribe consisted of only men. Jeff asked both men to rock-paper-scissors to draw a buff. Edgardo drew an orange buff, much to his dismay, as that meant that Edgardo was on the new Ravu tribe and had to move to the desolate camp. However, the new Ravu tribe would at least get a basket with many food items. The new Moto would win all of the Immunity Challenges, with Ravu winning just a single Reward Challenge. During this time, Edgardo and Alex aligned with Mookie, and Dreamz Herd would become affiliated with the trio. Mookie found the Hidden Immunity Idol, however, the group was cautious about telling Dreamz due to fear that he will flip back to his ally Cassandra Franklin. Anthony Robinson was the first to go because of his lack of strength and alienation from the group of men. Rocky Reid was the next to go because of his attitude and lack of work ethic. Finally, Lisi was voted out due to her wavering desire to stay in the game when earlier that day she asked to be voted out.
On Day 22, the tribes merged on Exile Island and would stay at the Moto camp. Looking forward to the many amenities of the campsite, in particular, the king-sized bed, Edgardo was horrified when the camp was stripped down to a barren state as it was in the beginning. At the Immunity Challenge, Probst revealed that the remaining ten castaways would be divided into teams and play in a tribal type challenge. Edgardo was placed on the orange team with Boo, Cassandra, Earl, and Yau-Man Chan. The Orange team won and was allowed to stay at Bula Bula. After Yau-Man won the first individual Immunity Challenge, Edgardo, Alex, and Mookie planned to play the idol on Alex to blindside Earl, viewing him as the biggest threat. They later decided to blindside Cassandra due to all of the men having a strong disdain for her and in hopes of splitting the alliance. Unfortunately, Dreamz found out about both the idol and the plot. Dreamz alerted the Syndicate Alliance to this plan, and Stacy came up the plan to put all of their votes on Edgardo. At Tribal Council, Alex used the idol on himself. As the votes were tallied, Edgardo was visibly confident in the plan and was shocked when he was blindsided in a 5-3-1 vote.
At Final Tribal Council, Edgardo only asked Earl who was responsible for his blindside. Earl revealed that it was Dreamz who revealed the plot to the Syndicate Alliance. Confirming his suspicion and never really liking Cassandra, Edgardo gave his vote for Earl.
