Story

“	Post-Tribal Council fallout leaves one Survivor feeling the heat from tribemates.	”

Day 7

At Yasur, Julie asked about people not complaining about people not doing work to possibly do some rotation system. Mia loses her cool about the notion of people complaining about people not doing work. Julie tries to calm Mia down, but Mia wouldn't listen. Twila who was sharpening the machete, interjects the conversation and was about to make a suggestion when Mia explodes at Twila by calling her out for what she said at the previous night's Tribal Council and the two got into a shouting match over the work load.

	Mia	“	Twila and I were fighting about the fact that she threw us under the bus last night, the youngins in the group, about being lazy. We've all pulled our weight around here and I'm going to call her out as much as possible 'cause I can't stand Twila. I want her out.	”

	Twila	“	Mia's mad because she knows I was right. Get off your ass and do something. Quit sitting on the beach and going swimming when everybody else is working.	”

	Twila	“	I'm not going to sit there and argue with her because she's mad, but I ain't taking a crap, I'll tell you that. I'll whip that little scrawny bitch's ass because I don't care. I ain't in it here to make no friends.	”

Challenges

Reward/Immunity Challenge: Great Escape Run
The challenge is divided into two parts: one for tribal reward, the other for individual immunity. For the reward half, the tribes must work together to make their way through three locked cages by untying planks, using grappling hooks to retrieve keys, and mastering a series of interlocking slide rails. The first tribe to crawl through the three cages to safety would win reward and the right to compete for individual immunity. For the immunity half, each person must dig ladder rungs out of the sand. The players would then use these rungs to assemble a ladder and climb the top of a tower. The first person to reach the top wins individual immunity.
Reward: Fishing and snorkeling gear, and the chance to vie for individual immunity.
Additional Stipulation: The player that wins individual immunity will spend the rest of the day at the other tribe's camp, after which he or she would assign individual immunity to a member of that tribe.

	John	“	Well, what can I say? I survived seven days. I was hoping to stay a little bit longer but, uh, there is no way that I think I was outwitted, outlasted, outplayed. Coming to the island and being part of something that I couldn't even imagine, I'll tell you what, what an experience.	”

Final Words

	Mia	“	I've met a lot of amazing girls and a lot of people that I'd like to never see again, one of those being Twila. Um, Twila, you have been extremely deceiving with all the girls. I thought you were absolutely horrendous to me and I think that you did not have the social skills to play this game at all and that's going to wear on the girls. Um, and hopefully, you'll get voted off next.	”

Trivia

• This episode marks the first time individual immunity was offered before the merge.
• This was the first time both tribes voted someone out of the game on the same day.
  • This would have happened two seasons earlier in "What the...? (Part 1)", but the Morgan tribe did not vote as Osten Taylor quit the game. That was, however, the first day with multiple Tribal Councils, with three.
• Both of the Tribal Councils held in this episode ended with a 5-3 vote.
• In this episode, John P. and Mia became the first contestants to be voted out on Day 7.
