Trivia[]
- This is the first time a returning player has won a duel.
- This is the first episode in which neither Cochran nor Edna received votes at Tribal Council.
- This would be the only episode to achieve this feat, if one does not count the episodes after they were sent to Redemption Island.
- This is the first time that a player returning from Redemption Island is not voted out immediately after they returned to the game due to Ozzy being immune.
- This would happen a second time in Blood vs. Water with both Laura Morett and Tina Wesson but, unlike Ozzy, neither had the Immunity Necklace.
- This episode set the record for most votes cast at a single Tribal Council, with 22 across two rounds of voting. This would be matched by "I'm Not Batman, I'm the Canadian" in Survivor 45.
- This episode however holds the record for votes that counted, as 11 votes in the latter episode were negated.
