Survivor NZ[]
On Day 1 of the season, as all the castaways arrived at the beach, Matt Chisholm, the host, asked who would be more than happy to be labeled a villain if it meant winning the game, to which Dee rose her hand in agreement. After being placed in the Hermosa tribe, Dee talked strategy with Georgia Bergerson and Shannon Quinn, however, the two didn't trust her. As the two tribes headed to Tribal Council, Dee targeted Barb Raos believing she was the weakest person on the tribe; however, the rest of the tribe unanimously voted Dee out, after being wary of her and the comments she made about being the villain.
On Day 2, both tribes learned that Dee and Hannah Gough from the Mogotón tribe, who was voted out right before Dee, had not left the game, as they were sent to Redemption Island, fighting to get back to the game. Dee lost the first duel, officially leaving the game.

Post-Survivor[]
- Following her elimination from Survivor NZ, Dee hit back at the show for not permitting her to clarify why she raised her hand. Dee claims three days prior to the game starting, the cast discussed why they joined the show and what stereotype they're portraying with Dee saying it was an "ongoing joke" that she would be labelled as a villain.[2] She would later refuse to attend the reunion.
