Profile

A self-described people person, Debra Beebe is a middle school principal and married mom from Auburn, Alabama who believes that her natural leadership abilities and tactful problem-solving skills will contribute to her success as a castaway on SURVIVOR. Debra, also known as "Bubbles," feels that her enthusiastic and energetic personality, in addition to her take-charge attitude, will erase any doubts about her ability to succeed in this game.

The fact that she is one of the older castaways will not be a hindrance for this woman who previously trained alongside Olympic athletes and still rises every morning at 4:30AM to get in her daily workout before tackling a day filled with hundreds of pubescent teens, pre-teens, parents, faculty and staff. Not one to be intimidated (even at a tiny 5’2”), Debra juggles work, her husband and her children. It’s no surprise that this go-getter won “Alabama’s Principal of the Year” award yet still finds occasional free time for shopping and dancing.

Debra feels that her occupation has taught her how to deal with politics which she can apply to the group dynamics of her tribe. With her abilities as a natural leader combined with her bossy and competitive nature, Debra plans to focus on the weaknesses of others in an effort to get them eliminated.

Debra is married with five children and currently resides in Auburn, Ala. Her birthday is September 28.

Survivor: Tocantins

Debbie was placed on the Timbira tribe at the start of the game. At the first challenge of the season, Timbira barely won over Jalapao. A few days later, Debbie stumbled upon Sierra Reed and Brendan Synnott digging. They claimed it was for a bonfire, but in truth, they were looking for the Hidden Immunity Idol. Also around this time, Debbie became a member of Coach Wade's Warrior Alliance along with Tyson Apostol.

Debbie later made the merge on Day 19, becoming a member of the Forza tribe. She, along with the rest of her alliance targeted Brendan for his perceived deviousness and successfully voted him out. Next, Debbie's alliance decided to target Sierra for her affiliation with Brendan. However, the Jalapao Three had other plans and blindsided Debbie's ally Tyson on Day 27, leaving her in the minority for the first time in the game.

Having lost trust in the former Jalapao members, Debbie attempted to rally the original Timbira members (Coach, Sierra, and Erinn Lobdell) into an alliance. However, Sierra outright refused this offer, saying that she was grateful to the Jalapao Three for protecting her. This started an argument between the two, ending with Debbie exclaiming "I'm too old for this" and walking away. After losing the next Immunity Challenge, Debbie was danger of elimination. Luckily, Coach began to spread a rumor that it was Sierra who attempted to organize the former Timbiras, not Debbie. This led to Sierra publicly confronting them in camp and another argument ensued. Although Debbie and Coach's lies were exposed by Sierra, Debbie was spared and Sierra was eliminated in a 4-2-1 vote for causing too much drama.

Following this Tribal Council, Debbie decided to sever her ties with Coach because of the rest of the tribe's irritation with him. She pleaded with J.T. Thomas and Stephen Fishbach to let her stay, even saying that she'd be happy taking third place. This act confirmed Debbie as a strategic player and the biggest threat in the Jalapaos minds, and they decided to target her. After losing the next Immunity Challenge to Stephen, Debbie was voted out in a 4-1-1 vote, becoming the fourth member of the jury.

At the Final Tribal Council, Debbie was the third to speak. She proclaimed that she was undecided on who to vote for. First, she asked J.T. about his honesty at home compared to Survivor. J.T. said he was honest, but in Survivor you have to lie. He even pointed out that Debbie lied to Coach when she was targeting him. Debbie then asked Stephen who he would have taken to the Final Two had he won the Final Immunity Challenge. Stephen said he didn't know, which Debbie didn't believe. Because J.T. answered her question decisively, Debbie voted for him to be the Sole Survivor.
