Dear Liza (also known as Dishwalla) is a recurring Survivor challenge. It debuted in Survivor: One World and has since reappeared in Worlds Apart, David vs. Goliath and Winners at War.
Rules
Each tribe will race to fill a large bucket with several holes on the side with water. They will then transport the bucket through a series of obstacles and dispose of the water into a large troth. The first tribe(s) to fill their troth and raise their tribe flag win the challenge.
In David vs. Goliath, a large saucer was used instead of a bucket with holes; a puzzle element was also added.
History
The challenge debuted in One World immediately after the Tribe Switch. The new Salani tribe employed a strategy of filling their bucket to the brim to offset the amount of water lost to beat the new Manono tribe in a closely fought challenge to win reward.
The challenge reappeared in Worlds Apart as the third Reward/Immunity Challenge. Nagarote made the decision to have Nina Poersch not assist in carrying the bucket, but to instead go ahead of the tribe and stay out of their way. This strategy failed and Nagarote quickly fell behind. Ultimately, a close race for first was won by Escameca over Masaya, while Nagarote was sent to their second consecutive Tribal Council.
