Ancienne propriétaire d'un salon de coiffure, Danyelle est mentalement bien loin de la retraite et occupe maintenant le poste de directrice artistique pour une gamme de produits capillaires. Très sportive, elle a pratiqué le culturisme pendant plusieurs années et s'est même rendue au championnat canadien ! « T'as peut-être des gros bras, mais moi aussi j'en ai déjà eu des gros bras et j'en ai plus. Faut que tu puisses te fier à autre chose que le physique ! » Pour Danyelle, l'âge n'a jamais été un frein. La preuve : déjà mère de deux ados, elle a décidé d'adopter une autre petite fille à l'aube de la cinquantaine. Jeune de coeur et de corps, elle compte utiliser l'énergie qui la caractérise pour s'ancrer comme la cool au sein de sa tribu. Et aussi sur ses formations en « personology » afin de bien comprendre les types de personnalités de chacun des joueurs. « C'est sûr que je me rends au bout ! Pas question de me faire mettre dehors parce que je n'ai pas été à l'affût ! »[2]

^1 In "Cycle 4", Danyelle, as the leader of Ugat was granted Safety Without Power at her first Tribal Council.
^2 In "Cycle 8", Sapa, as the winner of the Day 15 Reward/Immunity challenge, would as a group, cast a vote that would be read at the next Tribal Council. Sapa would cast a vote against a member of each of the other two tribes in the event that they lose. Since Malaki won immunity, the vote cast against Eric was negated.
^3 In "Cycle 8", due to Kathrine's evacuation, the votes were not read at Ugat's Tribal Council.
^4 In "Cycle 10", the Malaki tribe was subjected to a mock Tribal Council where the players voted against were eligible to be kidnapped by the other tribe.

- Danyelle is the oldest castaway to compete on Survivor Québec 3.
- Danyelle, along with Élodie Monga-Dubreuil, Geneviève La Haye, Kevin Dubé, and Sébastien Bénès are the first castaways in Survivor Québec to be a member of three different tribes before the merge.
- Further, Danyelle, Geneviève, and Sébastien are the first castaways to be a member of four different tribes.
- Danyelle was the only member of Sapa to serve on the jury.
