Daniel Elbittar Villegas is a contestant from La Isla 2012: El Reality.
Entering the game with a prior knee injury, Daniel gave it his all constantly. This unfortunately led to one of his knees being irreversably damaged in an Immunity Challenge, and his Celebridades tribe decided to vote him out for his sake, as he was even seen with crutches in his final moments on the competition.

La Isla: El Reality[]
Daniel joined the Celebridades tribe, where he showed himself to be very strong in the challenges. He also disclosed in the second day that he had to use a knee brace, as he had an injury before coming into the game. Despite this, his doctor told him he could go, so long as he wore that brace.
His tribe lost the first week's Immunity Challenge and Final Challenge, meaning that they would have to go to the first Trial of the season. He, along with his tribemates, thought that Belem Guerrero was the weakest of the tribe, so he joined his tribe in voting her out. However, there was one stray vote for Ivonne Montero, and there was a small discussion about it post-Trial. Daniel thought that Celia Lora was the one who betrayed the team, thanks to him not knowing much about her personally, and Ricardo Casares (the person who actually voted for Ivonne) getting in his ear and planting those ideas in his mind.
In the next few weeks, Daniel would continue being a strong asset, being a crucial part in his tribe's success, as they were able to avoid Trials, and even become the Judges for the fourth and fifth Trials. This streak would come to an end in the most unfortunate of ways, as in the sixth Immunity Challenge, his knee caught up to him, and he had to be taken out of the competition, being replaced by Ricardo, who was sitting out. This did lead to his tribe losing and, due to his injury, the Final Challenge would be stopped. Once he rejoined his tribe, Daniel was in crutches, as he was unable to stand with both of his legs.
In the Trial, the tribe agreed that Daniel had to be voted out since he needed surgery on his knee, but this also lead to Daniel and his tribemates being worries, as they thought the Desconocidos tribe would save Daniel. The vote was an unanimous 6 to 1, with Daniel voting Ricardo, as they didn't have the best relationship. All of their worries were put to rest, as Ricardo had been the one saved by the Desconocidos, which meant that Daniel's journey had come to an end.
