Originaire de la Belgique, Déborah a découvert le Québec en 2011 lors d'un stage en enseignement. Elle est tombée complètement en amour avec l'hiver québécois! Déborah a grandi dans une famille qui aime argumenter et s'obstiner! Elle n'a rien perdu de ce franc-parler qui la caractérise. Elle se donne comme mission de faire profil bas, mais elle doute d'y parvenir… Elle veut éviter de donner des conseils aux autres mais sait qu'elle risque de le faire à peine débarquée du bateau! Déborah déteste les bestioles, craint la chaleur extrême et le manque de nourriture : « Je n'ai pas vécu de réelles épreuves dans la vie, Survivor va m'en faire vivre toute une ».[1]

Post-Survivor[]
- Déborah was fired from her job in Saint-Hyacinthe for insubordination as the local school service centre never authorized her two-month leave plan.[2] Her union has supported her, and a petition to reinstate her received over 4,000 signatures.[3]
