Players are harnessed into a six-point sliding hub and must maneuver themselves along a marked course to the finish line. In Survivor: Micronesia, tribes would also have to collect puzzle pieces to decode a phrase to complete the challenge. The first tribe to finish (either reaching the finish line or solving the puzzle) wins.
First seen in Survivor: Fiji, the challenge was the first Immunity Challenge for the newly switched tribes of an all-male Ravu against the new Moto, which appeared to be weaker at first glance. The losing tribe would vote someone out at Tribal Council and then be joined by Lisi Linares, who was not chosen at the tribe swap and sent to Exile Island. Moto upset the all-male Ravu, winning immunity.
In Survivor: Micronesia, the challenge evolved by having each hub locked in place and all six locks needing to be opened by an assortment of keys on one ring. The tribes would then collect "puzzle necklaces" placed throughout the playing field, to give to un-hubbed tribemates who would use the necklaces on a decoding ring to solve a three word phrase. The Malakal tribe of Favorites defeated the Fans on the Airai tribe to win immunity.
