Cole Medders is a contestant from Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers.
Best remembered for his showmance with fellow Soko tribe member Jessica Johnston and successfully winning every challenge up until the merge, thus avoiding Tribal Council, Cole and the other former Soko tribe members found themselves on the bottom after both the original Levu and Yawa tribes formed the Solewa majority alliance. After losing a crucial Immunity Challenge to Lauren Rimmer, Cole was voted out.

Age: 24
Hometown: Little Rock, Ark.
Current Residence: Little Rock, Ark.
Occupation: Wilderness Therapy Guide
Hobbies: Rock climbing, mountaineering, and backpacking.
Pet peeves: I can't stand lazy people who shirk responsibility.
Three words to describe you: Unreserved, dauntless, and flirtatious.
What's your personal claim to fame? I have climbed the two tallest peaks in the Western Hemisphere—Denali and Acacongua.
Who or what is your inspiration in life? Tommy Coldwell—this man is a professional climber who lost his ring finger and has a family. This man has it all just by pursuing his passions. His motto is "no excuses."
If you could have three things on the island, what would they be and why? Weights to work out every day, a giant box of Legos for endless possibilities of fun, and a beach volleyball set because I could destroy everyone at it.
Which Survivor contestant are you most like? Spencer from Season 28. He came across as a nerd or just a little awkward but he ended up being really dominant in challenges and in the mental/social game and that's how I see myself.
What's your reason for being on Survivor? Of course the money would be incredible but I honestly think having the title of Sole Survivor is the ultimate accomplishment for an outdoorsman like me.
Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor? I have the kind of mental fortitude and strength it takes to survive. I have the kind of fearlessness and problem solving skills it takes and I have the smarts. No one will come close to being as well rounded as I am.[2]
Survivor[]
Cole began the game as a member of the Soko (or the "Healers") tribe. Over the course of the first few days, Cole formed a close friendship with Jessica Johnston, which quickly turned flirtatious. He was also recruited by Joe Mena to help him find the tribe's Hidden Immunity Idol. Despite this, Cole chose to disclose this to the other members of the tribe, making Joe a target for the rest of the group. Despite this, Soko remained dominant in Immunity Challenges for the first eight days of the game, allowing them to avoid Tribal Council.
At the Day 9 Tribe Switch, Cole was swapped to the new Yawa tribe alongside Jessica and Mike Zahalsky, where they held a 3-2 numbers advantage over the original Yawa and Levu members. Though Yawa would win the remaining tribal Immunity Challenges, Cole's habit of oversharing information continued, telling outsiders Ben Driebergen and Lauren Rimmer about Jessica's Vote Blocker advantage on Day 11 in an effort to build trust with them. Also around this time, Cole began to suffer from fatigue, even passing out from hunger on one occasion. This resulted in him consuming more and more of Yawa's limited food supply, which annoyed Ben.
On Day 17, Cole joined the newly merged Solewa tribe, where he quickly re-aligned with the remaining original Soko members, targeting Chrissy Hofbeck of the rival Round Table alliance. However, swing-votes Ben and Lauren chose to join the Round Table thanks in part to Ben's personal dislike of Cole, eliminating Jessica at the first merged Tribal Council. Now in the minority, Cole found a clue to a Hidden Immunity Idol after winning the Reward Challenge on Day 20. He attempted to locate the idol, but was stopped by Chrissy, who wanted to cover up the fact that her ally Ryan Ulrich had already found the idol.
Though Cole remained a target of the majority alliance, he successfully won immunity on Day 21. After failing to win the next Immunity Challenge though, Cole was again in consideration to be voted out. Though some members of the Round Table considered deviating from the alliance to vote out the irritating Joe, they ultimately followed through with the alliance's plan of splitting the votes between Cole and Mike, eliminating the former in a 7-1-0 vote.
At the Final Tribal Council, Cole accused Ben of painting him as a thief for his food consumption and asked him to prove him wrong. He also asked Chrissy how she formed relationships with people, and accused Ryan of not helping around the camp. Cole ultimately cast his jury vote for Ben, who won in a 5-2-1 vote.
