Después de ganarse el cariño de la audiencia como pretendienta y tronista de Mujeres y hombres y viceversa y tras poner a prueba su relación con Javi Redondo en el paraíso de La isla de las tentaciones, Claudia Martínez pone rumbo a Honduras.
Al igual que su novio, la de Barcelona se une a la lista de concursantes confirmados y la veremos enfrentarse a las pruebas más extremas, a los bichos y al hambre en los Cayos Cochinos. ¿Resistirá?[2]
Supervivientes[]
Claudia arrived on the island fresh from her stint on La isla de las tentaciones, along with her boyfriend Mario González, and the pair soon received some news when Claudia went for a pregnancy test from the show's medical staff. Wanting a positive result, she was disappointed when the test came back negative.[3]
Her prior relationship with Mario extended itself to the show's main gameplay, even attempting to take a punishment for stealing food from the reward challenge for him, but production refused to allow it. Many perceived her to be ultimately reliant on Mario during the game yet also emotionally, and former contestant Marta Peñate suggested that her love for Mario stopped her engaging with other castaways.[4]
When Mario refused to return to the game after being voted out, saying that it didn't feel right to be back in the game yet on a different tribe to Claudia, she was visibly shaken by the news, and was medically evacuated not long after.[5][6] She was voted out in what was seen as a mercy vote on Day 49, with medics suggesting that they would have not risked her continuing in the game were the public to have kept her in.[7]

Post-Supervivientes[]
After returning to Spain, Claudia revealed that she had contracted helicobacter pylori, a bacteria causing stomach ulcers, while on the island, having previously complained of stomach and groin pains. She is currently undergoing medical treatment, and changed her dietary and exercise habits.[8][9] She also asked her followers to vote off polarising contestant Pedro García Aguado, saying that whilst she personally liked him, his mental health on the island was much more volatile than what viewers had been led to believe.[10]
