Christian was initially apart of the [[David]] tribe. Both he and [[Lyrsa Torres]] were selected by the Goliath tribe as the weakest of their tribe, but were able to win the opening challenge for the Davids thanks to Christian's incredible puzzle solving skills. At camp he immediately bonded with [[Gabby Pascuzzi]]. After the tribe lost the first Immunity Challenge, Tribal Council was canceled due to [[Pat Cusack]]'s medical evacuation. This was good news for Christian because he wanted to work with Nick, the likely target for that Tribal Council due to his perceived lack of work ethic. The following the day both he and [[Nick Wilson]] formed an alliance called the Mason Dixon. The Davids lost immunity on Day 6. At camp, Gabby talked to Christian about voting out [[Jessica Peet]] after an awkward conversation with Jessica and Bi in which they discussed voting out Lyrsa. Christian notified Nick and they realized they had the power to send either Jessica or Lyrsa home. At Tribal Council, Christian and Nick sided with Gabby, blindsiding Jessica. Following Tribal Council, Christian and Nick told [[Davie Rickenbacker]] that Gabby was responsible for Jessica's elimination. The Davids won immunity on Day 9.

On Tiva, Christian became close with Dan and John, and the three formed an alliance called the Brochachos. Tiva won the remaining challenges, while Christian continued to reassure Gabby that despite her bad position they would find a way to get further in the game.

On Night 20, he contributed to former David [[Elizabeth Olson]]'s unanimous 12-1 elimination. On Night 22, Davie played his [[Hidden Immunity Idol]] on Christian, negating the seven votes against him, and John was blindsided. On Day 24 the Davids searched for an idol which Christian found. At the [[merge]], Christian became a part of a cross-tribal alliance called the Strikeforce with Nick, Gabby and former Goliath's [[Alec Merlino]], Alison and [[Mike White]]. On Night 20, he contributed to former David [[Elizabeth Olson]]'s unanimous 12-1 elimination, though Angelina attempted to target him because of his importance to the original David contingent. The following vote, Mike pitched voting out Christian once again after Christian told Mike about Gabby's Tribal Council comments in a failed attempt to reassure him. Though Angelina was frustrated the Goliaths didn't listen to her last time, she went along with the plan. Nick caught wind of the plan from Alec, and asked Davie if he would consider playing his idol on Christian. On Night 22, Davie played his [[Hidden Immunity Idol]] on Christian, negating the seven votes against him, and John was blindsided. On Day 24, the Davids searched for an idol which Christian found using his "Breadth First Search" strategy that allowed him to quickly determine the most likely spots an idol would be found. He told the Davids about his idol on Day 25. That night, he received three votes, but Dan was blindsided when former David [[Carl Boudreaux]] used his [[Idol Nullifier]] to negate Dan's idol.

On Day 28 Christian defeated Alec to win immunity. Despite wanting Carl out for his bossiness,  he contributed to Alec's unanimous elimination at the subsequent Tribal Council. At the final 8 Christian and Gabby wanted Carl out, and with that they plotted his elimination with former Goliath's [[Kara Kay]] and Alison, and Christian even talked to Mike about getting Carl out. At Tribal Council, Mike sided with Christian, blindsiding Carl. The following day, he met his girlfriend Emily at the [[Loved Ones Challenge]]. On Day 32, Davie told Christian that Gabby was gunning for him which Christian did not believe. At Tribal Council, he played his idol negating the five votes against him, and Gabby was blindsided even though Christian voted against Alison.

Christian Hubicki is a contestant from Survivor: David vs. Goliath.

A neurotic castaway, Christian's funny personality and general likability earned him many friends and allies in the pre-merge. At the merge however, he became a huge target for being too dangerous to win the game. Despite managing to escape elimination several times with Hidden Immunity Idols and an Immunity Challenge win, he was finally eliminated at the final 7.

Profile

Retrieved from CBS.com

Age: 32
Hometown: Baltimore
Current residence: Tallahassee, Florida
Occupation: Robotics Scientist
Hobbies: Clarinet, primarily classical. I do gigs and perform in orchestras. Casual coding. I once wrote a computer program to crate train my dog. Success was mixed. Sous chef to my girlfriend—I chop, she cooks. Together, we make some good food. Probably because she handles the more important job.
Pet peeves: Condescension, clichés, and reckless abuse of percentages.
Three words to describe you: Intellectual, jovial, and driven.
What's your personal claim to fame? Getting my robotics research made fun of on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Stephen called me a "nerd" on national television. Bucket list stuff.
Who or what is your inspiration in life? My parents are my heroes. No contest. They toasted my successes, comforted me in failure, and helped me back on my feet. I can't count all the ways they've supported me.
If you could have three things on the island what would they be and why? Binoculars to try "birding." I've never done it, despite writing part of my dissertation on birds. Sounds relaxing. A graphing calculator; a good shelter is grounded in good trigonometry. Also, it should be grounded in dirt. And a thesaurus to give pity names to my strategic game moves.
Which Survivor contestant are you most like? Stephen Fishbach. He talked about the game as a chaotic whirlpool of alliances, and his nerdy game analysis warms my heart. I don't do poetry, but I wouldn't object to being called a wizard.
What's your reason for being on Survivor? To win and prove I'm not just a diploma or a résumé, that I'm a formidable person, qualifications or no. I also want to make my mark on this game and help innovate the way Survivor is strategically played. I need the game, and the game needs me.
Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor? I'll win with my intelligence, kindness, and creativity. I'll be quick to assess threats and avenues of advancement while cultivating positive relationships with everyone. If I'm in a tight spot, I'll adapt and figure a way out. What could go wrong?[2]

Christian was initially apart of the David tribe. Both he and Lyrsa Torres were selected by the Goliath tribe as the weakest of their tribe, but were able to win the opening challenge for the Davids thanks to Christian's incredible puzzle solving skills. At camp, he immediately bonded with Gabby Pascuzzi. After the tribe lost the first Immunity Challenge, Tribal Council was canceled due to Pat Cusack's medical evacuation. This was good news for Christian because he wanted to work with Nick, the likely target for that Tribal Council due to his perceived lack of work ethic. The following day, both he and Nick Wilson formed the Mason-Dixon Alliance since both members were from the Southern U.S. The Davids lost immunity on Day 6. At camp, Gabby talked to Christian about voting out Jessica Peet after an awkward conversation with Jessica and Bi in which they discussed voting out Lyrsa. Christian notified Nick and they realized they had the power to send either Jessica or Lyrsa home. At Tribal Council, Christian and Nick sided with Gabby, blindsiding Jessica. Following Tribal Council, Christian and Nick told Davie Rickenbacker that Gabby was responsible for Jessica's elimination as a form of damage control. The Mason-Dixon Alliance remained in the middle of the strategy, but the Davids won immunity on Day 9 meaning no further tribe members would be voted out prior to the swap.

Following the Tribe Switch, Christian along with Gabby were switched to the new Tiva tribe where they were joined by Goliath's Dan Rengering, John Hennigan and Alison Raybould. On Tiva, Christian became close with Dan and John, and the three formed an alliance called the Brochachos. Tiva won the remaining challenges, while Christian continued to reassure Gabby that despite her bad position they would find a way to get further in the game.

At the merge, Christian became a part of a cross-tribal alliance called the Strikeforce with Nick, Gabby and former Goliath's Alec Merlino, Alison and Mike White. On Night 20, he contributed to former David Elizabeth Olson's unanimous 12-1 elimination, though Angelina attempted to target him because of his importance to the original David contingent. On Night 22, Davie played his Hidden Immunity Idol on Christian, negating the seven votes against him, and John was blindsided. On Day 24, the Davids searched for an idol which Christian found using his "Breadth First Search" strategy that allowed him to quickly determine the most likely spots an idol would be found. He told the Davids about his idol on Day 25. That night, he received three votes, but Dan was blindsided when former David Carl Boudreaux used his Idol Nullifier to negate Dan's idol.

On Day 28, Christian defeated Alec to win immunity, in part due to his ramblings and attempts to make conversation with Jeff. Despite wanting Carl out for his bossiness, he contributed to Alec's unanimous elimination at the subsequent Tribal Council. At the final 8, Christian and Gabby wanted Carl out, and with that, they plotted his elimination with former Goliath's Kara Kay and Alison, and Christian even talked to Mike about getting Carl out. At Tribal Council, Mike sided with Christian, blindsiding Carl. The following day, he met his girlfriend Emily at the Loved Ones Challenge. On Day 32, Davie told Christian that Gabby was gunning for him which Christian did not believe. At Tribal Council, he played his idol negating the five votes against him, and Gabby was blindsided, even though Christian voted against Alison.

Following Tribal Council, he realized Nick was not with him. On Day 35, Christian along with Nick and Davie were in danger of elimination, and Nick even talked to him about getting Alison out. At Tribal Council, Christian voted against Alison, but his threat status caught up to him as he was voted out, 3-2-0.

At the Final Tribal Council, Christian asked the finalists to highlight a move they had made which demonstrated how they outwitted their competition. Respecting Mike's game the most, he voted for Mike to win; Mike ultimately lost to Nick 7-3-0.
