Chelsea Walker is a contestant from Survivor: Island of the Idols.

Chelsea quickly found herself in a strong position on the Lairo tribe after forming a women's alliance and finding a Hidden Immunity Idol within the first few days of the game. However, a budding showmance with Dean Kowalski raised the concern of some of her allies, resulting in her blindside with the idol still in her possession.

Pet peeves: The chunky dad sneakers trend that suddenly made a comeback and makes it look like you have bricks strapped to your feet. Bulky, unflattering, and yet "everyone" is wearing them. Why suddenly, after we all agreed to put these to bed, have these dad sneakers come back?
Three words to describe you: Driven, competitive, and scrappy.
What accomplishment are you most proud of? Getting on Survivor. I started applying to the show when I was 21, and I remember believing once I put in that application, Survivor would be chomping at the bit to invite me to play this game. Little did I know at that point that this would be the start to a very long journey. After almost six straight years of applying, with rejection after rejection after rejection, I finally contemplated throwing in the towel. Yet, as hard as I tried to push it away, I could never get the thoughts and urges to play out of my mind and out of my heart. I've never quit anything in my life, and I'm so proud of myself for never giving up on my dream, despite people telling me to do so. The best thing I ever did was believe in myself.
Who or what is your inspiration in life? Larry David because he respects wood.
What's one thing we wouldn't know from seeing a photo of you? I'm pretty, pretty, pretty good.
Which Survivor contestant are you most like? Parvati and Kelley Wentworth, although I am aware the two girls play very different games. Parvati plays a very social, flirty, unsuspecting game, and establishes herself in power when she can. Kelley plays a very sneaky, threatening and aggressive game, tends to be more in your face with what she wants to accomplish, with a "never give up" type of attitude. I see myself in both of them.
What's your primary motivation for being on Survivor? It's the allure of this really amazing game, this game I've been dreaming of playing since I was 8 years old. This game that will strip me down to my core, while also offering myself the opportunity to prove what I'm capable of. To all the superfans out there, never give up.
Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor? I've been underestimated my entire life, and the second you tell me I can't do something, I'm going to do my damnedest to prove everyone wrong. I know what it's like to be at the bottom. Things might not always go my way, but I've learned to push through the challenges and work my way to the top. I'm tenacious, a hard worker, and I don't take anything for granted. Applying to the show for so many years has made me stronger, and hungrier to win. I have something to prove, and I will win because I have the passion and desire to do so.^[2]

Survivor[]

Chelsea was keen to join the Lairo women's alliance, and with her connections throughout the tribe she was well informed going into her first two Tribal Councils. With a Hidden Immunity Idol she found shortly after the first vote, Chelsea's game was off to a good start. Chelsea had a role in keeping the target off of Elaine as well as blindsiding Vince, though she worried that losing a loyal ally that early in the game would come back to haunt her.

However, things got complicated following Vince's elimination, as not only was Karishma exposed as the secondary split vote target despite being in the women's alliance, Aaron noticed that Chelsea and Dean had become close. After Elaine joked about the pair's bond, Chelsea reassured her that she was not in a showmance. Following the Immunity Challenge loss on Day 11, Aaron targeted Dean for his poor challenge performance. While Chelsea believed Karishma was the target, Elaine and Elizabeth argued against targeting Dean. Missy was desperate to keep Karishma, and also wary of Chelsea and Dean. At Tribal Council, Elaine revealed that it was a hectic afternoon that could come down to "Plan Z" in terms of who the target is due to the various conversations that took place. Chelsea was candid about Lairo's ability to blindside one another, adding that it can even be fun. Unfortunately for her, Plan Z was code for her blindside by a 6-2 vote.

Chelsea currently hosts the IMDb Survivor Live After Show.^[3]
Chelsea, along with nineteen other former Survivor contestants, competed in the first Survivor-themed mini-competition of Sequester on May 23, 2020. She was eliminated in the tenth round, finishing in 10th place.^[4]
Chelsea appeared as a contestant in the first episode of Legends of the Hidden Temple which is based the children's game show of the '90s. She and her friend Maddie were eliminated in the second round.

Trivia[]

Chelsea had been applying for Survivor since Cagayan. Among her attempts, she made it to the casting finals of Worlds Apart and Millennials vs. Gen X. She also applied for multiple seasons of Big Brother. She was an alternate for Big Brother 17 houseguest Becky Burgess.^[5]^[6]^[7]
Chelsea is the first woman to be voted out with a Hidden Immunity Idol on her first season of Survivor.
Chelsea is the lowest-placing female member of Lairo and the only one voted out before the merge and the jury.
