Charles de Vera Fernandez is a contestant from Survivor Philippines: Palau.

Initially battling a fever and was almost a target for elimination by his tribe, Charles was able to recover and built a strong social connection with many of his tribemates. His strategic navigation over his different alliances helped him to have a deep run in the game, ultimately reaching the final four. After he won the final four immunity challenge, host Paolo Bediones gave him an option to give up immunity to one of his tribemates in exchange for a condominium reward, which Charles accepted at tribal council and gave away his immunity to ally Justine Ferrer. This was a fatal error, as Amanda Cooley van Cooll and Jef Gaitan decided to vote against him instead, resulting to a tie. Charles eventually lost the fire-making tiebreaker, leading to his elimination.

At the age of 18, Charles decided to become independent and live on his own without asking for support from his parents. This raketista has sold everything from shoes to clothes to cosmetics! And because of his perseverance, persuasiveness, and talkativeness, Charles was able to finish his studies at the University of Luzon in Dagupan City. Charles has described himself as a chameleon, ever able to adapt to his own environment.
