Chantal was selected by Cédric Giosserand-Lucas to be a part of the Tinggi tribe. The Tinggi tribe got off to a good start, winning the first three challenges. Before the second Reward Challenge, both tribes had to select a female and a male of their opposition to be banished until further notice. Thanks to this twist, the Tinggi tribe lost Cédric and Jessica Potel for the time being, leaving them with eight active members. At the beginning of the third cycle, Cédric and Jessica competed against the banished members of the Lankawaï tribe, Manon Allender and Sébastien Ballesteros, in a challenge. Manon and Sébastien won this challenge and became captains of the new Tinggi and Lankawaï tribes, respectively, in consequence. Chantal was selected by Manon to be a part of the new Tinggi tribe, which consisted of four original Lankawaï tribe members and five original Tinggi tribe members. Throughout the remainder of the tribal phase, the surviving second Tinggi tribe members solidified their bonds with one another. Going into the merge, the second Tinggi tribe members were in the minority. With the second Lankawaï tribe members wanting to pagong the second Tinggi tribe members, they faced a problem concerning the merged tribe's first Tribal Council. Since Corinne Bargoin Samuelian would be exempt from attending due to being at the infirmary and since Charlaine Cuny would already have a black vote cast against her, there would be a tied vote should the second Tinggi tribe members vote against Charlaine. To circumvent this, Cédric convinced Jeff Santiago that Charlaine had a Hidden Immunity Necklace and that they should vote out Sébastien instead. Though the other second Tinggi tribe members questioned Cédric's sincerity, they followed Jeff in voting against Sébastien at Tribal Council. Meanwhile, the second Lankawaï tribe members blindsided Jeff, who then angrily realized that he had been conned all along by Cédric. The next cycle, Corinne was permanently evacuated and eliminated from the game due to an infection on her foot, so Jeff returned to the game in her place, allowing for the second Tinggi tribe members to turn the tables on the second Lankawaï tribe members and eliminate three of them over the next two cycles. At the Final Eight, Marc Rambaud, who realized he was next in the second Tinggi tribe members' firing line, successfully convinced Chantal and Bruno Peisey to flip over to his side based on the three of them doing most of the work around camp. This trio, along with Sébastien, blindsided Jeff at Tribal Council. This new alliance of four controlled the votes over the next couple of cycles, but at the Final Five, outsider Mélissa Bastin won the last individual Immunity Challenge. Forced to eliminate one of their own, Chantal, Bruno, and Marc voted out Sébastien without hesitation. Having made it to the finale, Chantal won the Perch challenge at the Final Three and took Marc to the Final Two instead of Mélissa. At the Final Tribal Council, though both Chantal and Marc faced a generally bitter jury, they were credited for their survival skills and hard work. With Marc shining more in these aspects than Chantal, Chantal lost to Marc in a 9-2 vote.
