Catherine was selected by Camille Sold to be a part of the Sungaï tribe. Early in the game, Catherine found herself on thin ice, especially with Marie Parmentier's alliance, for her lack of challenge strength. However, Catherine made it to the merge without any votes cast against her largely due to the Sungaï tribe only going to Tribal Council twice throughout the tribal phase and due to her forming a counter-alliance against Marie's later on. After the tribes merged, the original Sungaï tribe members made use of their numbers advantage and pagonged the original Mawar tribe members over the next few cycles. They failed once at the Final Thirteen due to Namadia Thaï Thaï correctly playing a Hidden Immunity Necklace on himself and "idoling out" Javier Rodriguez in the process with the votes of his alliance. At the Final Ten, the Tied Destinies twist took place and Catherine was paired with Camille. With two of the three remaining original Mawar tribe members, Myriam Modde and Thierry Villette, paired with each other and the third, Bernard Deniaud, paired with Ugo Latriche, Catherine realized that she and Camille could be in danger. This was mainly due to the pair of Philippe Bizet and Brice Martinet winning the corresponding individual Immunity Challenge and due to the possibility of Myriam or Thierry finding and playing a Hidden Immunity Necklace on themselves afterwards at Tribal Council. Therefore, without Ugo or Brice knowing, Vanessa Alvarez, Catherine, and Camille made plans to cause a split vote by voting against Bernard while their allies voted against Myriam. However, at Tribal Council, Catherine and Camille abandoned this plan and voted against Myriam instead because they became certain that neither Myriam nor Thierry had found a Hidden Immunity Necklace and they did not want to hurt Ugo's feelings. This turned out to be a mistake because Thierry played a Hidden Immunity Necklace on himself and Myriam, nullifying the votes cast against Myriam and leaving Catherine to be voted out of the game by the original Mawar tribe members. Due to the Tied Destinies twist, Camille was eliminated as well.
