Story[]

Night 21[]

As Kula Kula returns to camp from Tribal Council, Lindsay Dolashewich continues to revel in the fact that she survived the Do or Die game by hugging all her tribemates. She recaps the events that led to Drea Wheeler's elimination, and celebrates the fact that her Advantage Amulet is now a Hidden Immunity Idol, which she plans on using at the next Tribal Council.

That was the best Tribal Council ever—ever, ever, ever. I couldn't believe that I actually picked the right box. And then, Drea pulls out her advantage, which says that she can ask anybody one question—if they have an advantage or they have an idol, and they have to be honest that they do and if they do, they have to give it to her. […] (cackles) It was such a great play! So, she didn't get to use it, the vote went to Drea, she's out, now my amulet is now a Hidden Immunity Idol which I have to use at six, so I plan on using that tomorrow, so win win win! Great day for me.

Tonight went perfectly, like I wanted to unleash my evil laugh, like (laughs)

As the rest of the tribe sleeps, Mike Turner floats a plan by Maryanne Oketch. He suspects that Omar Zaheer is gunning for him, so he wants to get rid of Omar before he gets the chance to take him out. Maryanne offers to consider his proposal, but expresses hesitation because Omar has been her ally since Day 1. Mike then exposes that he has been aligned with Omar since the merge, and the pair realize that Omar has been playing both of them.

Right now, I need to prove to Maryanne that Omar is not her partner, he's working against her. I'm setting the gameplan in motion, I just gotta nourish it and in this game, you gotta not go too fast, not be down at their throat. Let them make their own decision, but you give them a little nudge.

Day 22[]

Final Words[]

Omar
Maryanne got me; she got me good and I knew playing with her was like playing with fire and I should've listened to my gut, but I was Survivor confident and that is the worst thing you can be, but I still had a blast and this was the best experience of my life.

Trivia[]

Secret Scenes[]

  • (Untitled): On Day 22, Lindsay and Maryanne are challenging each other in a limbo competition.[2]
  • Jonathan Goes Fishing: Jonathan is disappointed Omar didn't pick him to share in the reward but he takes matters into his own hands to feed himself.[3]
  • I'm Going All Out: Lindsay is ready for an intense Immunity Challenge and hopes to beat Jonathan.[4]

Behind the Scenes[]

  • Omar explained that he decided to return Mike the idol because he planned to blindside him at the final five by playing an Idol Nullifier against him.[5]
  • According to Omar, the Advantage Amulet was non-transferable, so Lindsay would have had to play the idol on him at Tribal Council. This discouraged her from playing it as she did not want to expose their tight partnership.[5]
  • At Ponderosa, Hai implied that the jurors were getting drunk right until they prepared to leave for Tribal Council;[6] Drea shared on social media that she spent five hours preparing her jury look.[7] After his arrival, Omar described receiving a frosty reception;[5] he claimed that he was on the receiving end of malicious comments, including from Drea, whose conduct he found hypocritical.[8][9][10]

Other[]

  • Lindsay becomes the first woman since Kim Spradlin in "Perception Is Not Always Reality" to leave her idol to expire unused because she won immunity at the last time it could be played.
  • This marks the first time that the Extra Vote caused a plurality vote.
  • Omar becomes the first member of Taku to be eliminated since Marya Sherron back in "Good and Guilty".
    • The nine-episode gap is the second-longest period between two members of the same tribe being eliminated, after Matsing saw a ten-episode gap between eliminations in Philippines.
