The tribes would divide into pairs that are harnessed together. Taking turns in rounds, one pair from one tribe (called the hunters) would chase a pair from the other tribe (the prey) through an obstacle course in the forest and attempt to catch the other pair (sometimes with a flag attached to their backs). If the hunters catch the prey, their tribe earns a point, but if the prey manages to escape for a certain amount of time, their tribe gets the point. The first tribe to score a given amount of points will win the challenge.
History[]
United States[]
The challenge made its debut in Survivor: Micronesia where Airai and Malakal competed in their first challenge as new tribes, and Airai dominated their rivals. Most notably, while Joel Anderson and Chet Welch competed, Joel was indifferent to Chet's safety, to the point of dragging Chet as dead weight while he ran around the track. A lot of injuries happened as a result of this challenge, with Jonathan Penner sustaining an injury that eventually led to his evacuation.
Mexico (Unofficial)[]
The challenge appeared in La Isla 2012, used as a Final Challenge. While the Celebridades tribe won, tribe member Ricardo got both of his ankles injured. Juanito, from the losing Famosos tribe, had a heart attack while competing in the challenge, and he had to be taken out of the competition.

Trivia[]
Challenge producer John Kirhoffer has stated that this challenge would never be used again in the US version due to an unprecedented number of injuries.[1]
