Survivor: Palau
As a member of the Koror tribe, she and the other members enjoyed a dominant winning streak. However, she wasn't vital in those challenges and would have been vulnerable had Koror lost. Despite being outside of the majority alliance consisting of Tom, Ian, Katie, Gregg, and Jenn, Willard would be voted out at the only Tribal Council Koror attended. After the merge, Caryn was in a much better position and was a part of most players' preferred alliance plans. She had the opportunity to join Jenn, Katie, and Stephenie in an all girl alliance, but since she felt she trusted Tom, she stayed loyal to him and the plan fell through. Caryn would be a vital player in the next vote as Tom and Ian looked to blindside Gregg. With Katie flipping at the last minute, Caryn succeeded in blindsiding him. After being caught in the crosshairs during a few shifts in power, she became a target on Day 36. Caryn tried to convince Katie and Jenn to vote out Ian since he had been scheming as well, as well as being a bigger threat in challenges. Pleading the tribe not to "shoot the messenger", they did exactly that by voting her out 4-1. Caryn's bond and respect for Tom lead to her voting for him at Final Tribal Council, and he would eventually win by a 6-1 vote.
