Céline a grandi dans le milieu médical. Foncièrement altruiste, Céline se dévoue aux autres. À sa famille d'abord, qu'elle a beaucoup aidée, et à ses patients, qu'elle cajole. Pour la première fois de sa vie, Céline va faire quelque chose pour elle, et elle seule. Forte de son mental d'acier, Céline la courageuse veut gagner, pour son bonheur, et celui de ses filles.

Céline was selected by Alexandra Élizé and Jean-Philippe Masy, the female and male winners of the opening challenge and the captains of the Nacpan and Ilog tribes, respectively, to be the captain of the third tribe, Turung, due to the pair correctly assessing that Céline would be weaker in challenges and a poor captain. At camp, Céline became close with Setha El Hajjami, however, the pair were in the minority. Though the Turung tribe finished second in the Immunity Challenge, they still had to attend Tribal Council. Realizing that she and Céline were in danger, Setha lied to her tribemates about possessing a Hidden Immunity Necklace in an attempt to make a few of them consider voting out Stéphanie Tribot instead. However, the majority of the tribe simply split the votes between Céline and Setha instead with Céline receiving the higher number of votes of the two.
