Brett Clouser grew up in Salem, Oregon before coming to LA in 2004 to attend Pepperdine University. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration, Clouser first decided to go the corporate route, only to find his passions were elsewhere. Brett then pursued his dream of launching a cause based clothing company which would soon become, "The Monument of Our Hearts." An up-and-coming social entrepreneur, Clouser strives to leverage his brand to actively support and advocate for healthy body image.
Brett's flirtatious behavior with women could be his biggest asset in the game or it could be his biggest hindrance. "I'm going to try and put up the best wall I can, but I feel like I'm going to be a sucker for a couple of them."
Always a showman, Clouser loves to be in front of people and make them laugh. When he's not operating his clothing company, Brett can be found in his element, the great outdoors. Never a fan of the gym, Brett enjoys trail running and extreme outdoor activities. His charm and competitive nature will make him a dynamic player and force to be reckoned with on SURVIVOR.
Brett is single and currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif. His birth date is December 27.[1]
Survivor
Brett arrived in Samoa and was placed on the purple tribe of Galu. He had little camera time before the merge, mostly he was doing yoga with the "90210" clique, and enjoying the fruits of Galu's impressive winning streak.
After the merge, Brett was the one to name the merged tribe Aiga. He remained loyal to Galu, but agreed to vote out Erik Cardona. He later tried to strategize with John Fincher to keep Laura Morett in the game, but to no avail. Galu tribemate Shambo Waters flipped and he watched as one by one as his purple comrades were eliminated by the Foa Foa Four plus Shambo until the target was put on his back by Russell Hantz for easily being able to win the votes of the then all-Galu jury.
However, Brett managed to win immunity, and Monica Padilla was sent home. As the last remaining "true-Galu", he was quickly outnumbered by the Foa Foa Four. However, as cracks started to appear within the alliance, he quickly befriended Mick Trimming and Natalie White. He kept the spirit of Galu alive by winning two more Immunity Challenges, forcing the Foa Foa Four to vote out Shambo and Jaison Robinson. At the Final Immunity Challenge, Brett was defeated by Russell H. and while Russell after asked him if he knew how to make fire, and considered forcing a tie and firemaking challenge with Mick, the trio of Mick, Russell, and Natalie stuck together and voted Brett and he was eliminated, becoming the final jury member.
At Final Tribal Council, Brett asked Mick what a "bro date" would be like with him to see to what level Mick invested in Brett as a human being. Mick's answer was disappointing and unconvincing and he lost Brett's vote. Brett voted for Natalie to be the Sole Survivor, because of the friendship they had formed and his rivalry with Russell H.
In the live Reunion Show, the jury revealed that Brett would have won had he made it to the final three.
