Story[]

After winning an arduous Reward Challenge, one tribe member ruins it for the rest by becoming intoxicated and obnoxious. In a Tribal Council first, one castaway bullies and insults a fellow tribe member despite attempts to keep the peace.

—Episode Synopsis[2]

Day 15[]

Yaxhá reflects on how big of a move it was to vote out Blake at Tribal Council, while Nakúm struggles with the monstrous thirsty mosquitoes at their camp and Margaret's negative energy.

Upon arriving at the Reward Challenge, Jeff reveals that both tribes will be going to Tribal Council, the winning tribe will compete for individual immunity, and that winner will sit in on the losing team's Tribal Council. Things get a little heated between Jamie and Bobby Jon while Amy re-injures her ankle during the challenge. The challenge is ultimately won by Nakúm. In the following individual Immunity Challenge, Judd can't get his bag of puzzle pieces open and while looking at Rafe's letters he figures out the answer, which he accidentally gives to Rafe, which leads to Rafe winning immunity.

Post challenge, Nakúm happily enjoys their BBQ feast reward while Yaxhá members try to figure who's going to be going home with even numbers on both alliances within the tribe. Judd is certain that Margaret will be the next to go but his obnoxious behavior really rubs his tribe mates the wrong way.

Judd blows up at Tribal Council and bullies the vote his way, unanimously sending Margaret home next.

At Yaxhá's Tribal Council, everyone is civil. In a twist, Rafe gets to assign individual immunity to whomever he chooses. The votes are read and Brian has enough to be eliminated. Rafe's choice (which he cast before the tribe voted) is revealed to be Gary, and thus Brian is sent packing unanimously.

Challenges[]

Challenge: Boulder Smash
Each tribe has two members on opposite sides of a giant ball. Both teams push the ball and try to get it past their own goal line. The first tribe to make three goals wins reward and a shot at Individual Immunity.
Reward: Barbecue items, including a grill, burgers, beer, and root beer, as well as the right to compete in an individual Immunity Challenge.
Winner: Nakúm

Challenge: Sudden Death
The castaways would race into a field to collect three bags containing letter tiles. Each time they untie a bag, they must bring it back to their station. Once they have collected all three bags they would untie them and start working on the two-word phrase. The first person to solve the phrase correctly wins immunity.
Winner: Rafe Judkins

Jamie
(voting against Margaret) Since the tribes switched over, you have had your head down, you're always depressed. We knew you came to try to get Nakúm's first tribe together and get rid of the old Yaxhá. This isn't a team thing. We're trying to keep the best and get rid of the weak. You are the weakest on this, and it makes me so angry how you could, how you rode coat-tails when the other team was better, and then, when you had to play with the underdogs, you just couldn't handle it - you just gave up and died. You have no heart. So, this country boy's writing the doctor's prescription, and it's to get out of the jungle. Stay away from my tribe.
Lydia
(voting against Margaret) What a wonderful person you are. I really enjoyed having a one-to-one talk with you, sharing recipes, sharing ideas, laughing. But you gotta remember this is the game, and the tribe's spoken.
Judd
(voting against Margaret) Hey, Margaret, if you leave this jungle now, it ain't soon enough, man. Get out now!
Stephenie
(voting against Margaret) Margaret, you've caused way too much tension, especially with one of our strongest, who we really need. And I didn't like your comments about me, um, making the same mistake that I did on Palau. Think you made a huge mistake. See you later.
Rafe
(voting against Margaret) Margaret, you're a strong, intelligent woman, and I'm sorry that you let your problems with Judd cripple you in this game. I hope you have the best of luck.
Cindy
(voting against Margaret) My vote's for a tough lady with a soft heart. Thanks for caring, playing the game, listening and knowing all the differences. Thanks a lot. Good luck.
Margaret
(voting against Judd) Judd... you're a bully, you're self-righteous, you're rude, you're profane. And, for all those reasons, you've probably gotten this far. However, no one like you deserves a million dollars. My vote's for you, buddy.

Final Words[]

Margaret
This was probably physically the most challenging thing that I have ever had to do in my life and I am so excited that I did it. Best wishes to Nakúm tribe. I'm sure that a lot of the tension will be gone now but I think you're going to have a lot of troubles with Judd so take care.

Voting Confessionals[]

Gary
(voting against Brian) Brian, you're a great kid. You're gonna be successful, but you're way too smart. Good luck.
Brian
(voting against Bobby Jon) This would be the "outwit" part of "outwit, outplay, outlast". I didn't fight to get out of the minority only to be put back into it tonight. I hope Rafe understood why I told him that Gary needed immunity, because Gary shouldn't be getting any votes anyway, and I don't want my plan messed up.
Bobby Jon
(voting against Brian) Brian, you're a great kid with a ton of heart. You've done a remarkable job. You should be proud of yourself.
Amy
(voting against Brian) Brian, I'm voting for you. It's either you or me, brother. Good luck.
Brandon
(voting against Brian) Brian, you're one of the most generous guys I've ever met, but I have to stay true to my alliance.
Danni
(voting against Brian) I really wish you hadn't given the immunity away, because that would have made the decision a little bit easier. I think you're an awesome guy, and it's hard to write your name down. You're a gentleman, and your mom should be proud of you.

Final Words[]

Brian
Well, I certainly went down fighting. I know I played this game very hard and I did everything I could. And I did not see that coming which is how I wanted to go out. So the fact that they pulled one over on me, I'm really proud of them. I'm glad they're playing the game. You know, I have never really had to push myself like that before so I'll take from this experience the fact that I was able to go into really difficult situation and come out feeling great.
