Koh-Lanta[]
After the opening challenge, Bernard was not selected by Camille Sold or Namadia Thaï Thaï to be on either contestant's tribe and was banished alongside Philippe Bizet, Nadine De Carpentry, and Élodie Sadeler for the remainder of the cycle. After the Sungaï tribe won the second reward challenge, they selected Philippe and Élodie to become new members, leaving Nadine and Bernard to be integrated into the Mawaï tribe. As new members of the Mawaï tribe, Nadine and Bernard had easy targets on their backs when the tribe went to Tribal Council after losing the second immunity challenge, however, their decent work ethic around camp had earned them allies in Myriam Modde, Sara Tallon, and Thierry Villette and the five voted out Mickaël Kalfallah due to his negativity. In the fourth cycle, Sara was evacuated from the game due to otitis and she was replaced by Élodie, who had been voted out by the Sungaï tribe at their first Tribal Council. Though the more challenge-oriented members of the Mawaï tribe felt that Élodie was a downgrade from Sara, Nadine and Bernard knew of her potential as an ally due to their shared status of previously banished contestants. In spite of this, Myriam and Thierry flipped on them because this pair realized that the tribe needed to make up for its deficit in immunity challenge wins. Thus, Nadine and Élodie were voted out at back-to-back Tribal Councils, but fortunately for Bernard, he managed to squeeze by to the merge. With the Mawar tribe having gone to Tribal Council numerous times before the merge, Bernard lost some of his allies at the hands of the original Sungaï tribe members after the tribes merged. However, there were two cycles in which Namadia and Thierry "idoled out" Javier Rodriguez and Catherine Perez, respectively. Additionally, Camille was eliminated at the same time as Catherine due to them having Tied Destinies for that cycle. At the Final Seven, Bernard decided to focus on preserving his own game rather than sticking with his dying alliance, so he made a deal with the original Sungaï tribe members to vote with them in exchange for being the last original Mawar tribe member standing. Therefore, Bernard had a hand in Thierry and Myriam's eliminations over the next two cycles. Having made it to the finale, Bernard was eliminated at the Final Five after losing the Orienteering challenge along with Philippe. Bernard finished in fifth place while Philippe finished in fourth place because the latter had made more progress in the challenge than the former before they were forced to stop.
